Both versions are scary, @meemyweemy and weeklycrafting, but TIm Burton made it gross, like the thankfully obscure director who worked with Mike Myrers to ruin Dr.Seuss's Cat in the Hat at Universal. Some may feel the same for Ron Howard and Jim Carrey's earlier attempt at a Dr.Suess-Universal collabroation, "The Grinch" I tried going on this ride in 2001 when it opened up. I haven't been back since--oh, around 2004? :)Happy New Year's weekend, everybody.
