  • HI Darlene, I just wanted to let you know that you and your Sunshine Chess pie have inspired me. We are lovers of chess pie (your recipe is great) and also of lemon (anything!), so I got brave and added a few tablespoons of lemon curd to your base recipe. It turned out great!   • @Pattycakessmiles Thank you Tess, That is want I do. I add this, take away that. I play around with recipes all the time. Everyone has different tastes. Make it the way you like it.   • @alansa12 4 large eggs, 1 stick of real butter, 1 cup white sugar, a half a cup brown sugar,one 1/8 tea. salt, 1tbs. yellow corn meal, 1 cup evaporated milk, 2 tbs. orange marmalade, 1 tea. vanilla. blend,pour into deep dish crust. bake 400 for 10 min. reduce to 300 bake 40 to 50 min or until knife in center comes out clean. let cool 1 hour. enjoy Darlene
