i was at church tonight and we had a speaker in, his name is Jackie Burke. he told his testiony and i had nothing left to do but cry. it totally moved me, i think my life is tough, his is no comparison to mine. im not trying to advertise or anything i just think some of you people would love his story as much as i did :)

my brother i've seen mass murderers fall on their knees before GOd in prayer and change their lives! you choose to believe that GOd is guilty for our evil cuz ppl kill in his name, yet u avoid the fact that there are hundreds thousands of christian institutions that help the needy, the poor, those who dont have the resources to survive. the many christian hospitals which in JEsus's name help the needy with NO CHARGE. these institutions are supported by church members and their donations

No sign of a god, before, during or after, natural disastres B) The absolute absence of favoritism towards believers. Even chruches need lightning-rods to protect them from god. C) The absence of any reaction, when crimes are committed in his name. D) The suffering of the innocent. One could accept that the guilty must suffer, but children ???

when a mother tells his son "do not do that or u'll get hurt" , but the kid goes ahead and does it and gets hurt. could u blame th emother for his pain?

@tallliza cuz The Bible was written first for the hebrews ( old testament) and the new testament was written in greek. have u ever studied those languages? translation from greek to any other language is extremely complicated due to the great amount of phrases and expressions that made better sense in greek. u could try to translate them but it wasnt gonna sound the same. which is why we today have the literal translation of the "words" to better understand the meaning of the word.

Do you ever ask yourself the question, why would an omniscient god write or inspire his manual for salvation inGreec ? He could have used a language that all the peoples of the wolrd understood. He could make the apostles talk in a language everybody understood.

@tallliza actually as registered in the book of ACTS when the apostles received the HOLY SPIRIT, they started talking in laguanges everyone could understand. and many believed! this is how the Gospel started beign preached to everyone in their own language, through these ppl that believed in peter's words and then went hpe to tell others. so YES the apostles did talk in languages

Jesus replied accordign to some translations " assuredly, i say to you, today you will be with me in paradise".. this translation makes it sound as if that same day when the thief would go ot heaven. but in greek there is not periods or commas , and the problem with the translation lies on the fact that the comma can be placed in the wrong part of the sentence. let me rephrase the same

@tallliza sentence but placing the comma where it actually should go to give the right meaning to that sentence according to the original language " assuredly, i say to you today, you will be in paradise with me".. notice the diference? it no longer sounds like a promise to do to heaven that same day, but in the future referring to Jesus coming again. taking this off context has caused many wrong doctrines such as " when u die u inmediately go to heaven". which is never told in the bible.

@tallliza just like the relationship between a mother or a father and his son, sons are given a free will. unfortunately or furtunately for many, God has given us a free will, H e himself says " you shall not murder" but we choose to either obey or disobey his commandment. God say u shall teach ur kids with a rod in hand, but once a psychologist spoke and said " you shall not" and the world thought it was better. later on his son killed him then commited suicide, question is whos fault is it?

@tallliza but if God lets us gather th result of all our evil we the human race would have perished long ago and one could say that God wasnt a God of love. today we see the result of our evil actions. our world is being ruled by those who constantly do evil seeking for their own good causing pain to others. God doesnt do this. God wanted his commandments among us but a judge didnt like that idea and took them off. we ignore his law yet ask why evil has come to us?
