  • the sail's too big, half the size would be perfect.

  • are you using a centerboard? Looks a little unstable, have you tipped it yet?

  • @dariod2007 Yes, I'm using centerboard. The boat is very light and in strong wind esp. when you gybe it cantip you over. Already happende - but not a problem. The boat floats on it's side any you just push down the centerboard and it's up again.

  • nice pdr video, enjoyed the music too,

  • Hi Matt

I don't know yet how fast can I go. One day I will take my GPS onboard and then will see:)

Since I'm still learning to sail I prefer not to go too fast - that is - lean out too much.

Yes, the sail is Polytarp. Very cheap to make - about 25€ all together and it's amazing how well it works.

  • Great job. Your PDR ist made very well. It´s incredible, how fast you can sail with that small boat. Do You use a Polytarp Sail ?

    Greetings, Matt

  • Wonderful! The whole video- subject, weather and boat are very pleasant. Thanks.

  • Well, he was kinda guinea pig to do all the hard testing. So if something happened the real sailor would not be harmed :)

  • What a lovely video of precision, controlled sailing expertise! No mistakes to be seen here at all! What a great craft which makes this video so much more enjoyable.
