@jermainesixx If you put the line after you grip, you're going to cut into the deck. Even if you just slightly cut intoo the deck, even half a millimeter, it makes your board SOOO much weaker in that area. Everytime I would cut into my grip AFTER applying it, my board would break right onto that cut-area in less than a month. Shortest time was in the same day. Cutting after application= VERY BAD.

And on some decks there's wording or a picture near the tail so people leave a space between so you can see the cool letters or logo.

no there is a point in having a distinct nose and tail. as you skate your bushings ware in more normally on your heel side and reversing it makes it feel weird. also some decks like element have a bigger have a specified tail that has more pop to it.

He used a piece of crip take on the EDGE to sand it down so he could easily cut it off with a razor. If you do it enough, normally with a screwdriver, you dont even need a razor but that can mess up your board
