  • Thank you for your video, i feel proud of you, i think we need a lot of transgenders to speak up and not only busy with self problems and don't care about what happen to the world. I am a Muslim.

  • That's just it though. There is no voice. There is the voice of radical Islam which we read about in the daily paper but the moderate voice is subdued. There are only a handful of people who speak out defending the REAL Islam but they never seem to address the issues that worry so many Americans. We need to help the moderates somehow but I don't think that Park51 is the right way. Something tells me that many Muslims would be happy if their religion was reformed.

  • @b1rdkeeper "There is the voice of radical Islam, which we read about in the daily paper." This is true. And it's called fear mongering -- the very principle behind Stephen Colbert's demonstration in Washington, D.C. this halloween weekend. Why would you ever trust American media? It's bought, sold, and scripted! Anyone knows that if you want the real truth, you have to go to the source. So tell me then, how many American Muslims have you interviewed?

  • @ladyargiopesvanity, actually quite a few.

I know your heart is in the right place.

Even though I support Colbert's and Stewart's message and hate the Tea Party, I disagree with them when it comes to Islam. I can't just brush off the daily global atrocities committed in the name of Islam ( including the ones today) as "bought sold and scripted". I lost two high school friends to Islamic terrorism. Maybe that makes me biased but I highly doubt it.

It's all about seeing both sides here.

  • We cannot censor something (remove voice) just because we disagree with it. That's akin to fascism. Keep in mind, Alchemy used to be a taboo subject, and many rejected their scientists as heretics. Yet look what good has come from their research. Today it is a pseudoscience, but once it was just a different way of looking at things. So, my point is, don't throw the baby out with the bath water. There is still some good in Islam as there is in all faiths. Even if that faith is science.

  • Is modern Christianity anything like Islam? Think about it.

I'm an atheist but in the Muslim world you and I would be found guilty of apostasy and sentenced to death. That's what you're supporting here. There is a difference between secular Judaism and Christianity when it comes to atheists like us.

The point of our constitution is to ensure that a mindset and religion like Islam does NOT find its way into our society.

BTW, I don't mean to be rude or anything. Just throwing it out there.
