Do you have to use some kind of fertilizer like miracle gro for hydro?  Also, if I wanted to try this, can I just use natural sunlight or do I need to use a grow light?

can someone out there give me advice whether to just plant my seed in root riot cubes/soil-or put them in wet paper towels first- i dont really wanna do this as i done that a few years back&lost some seeds cos i used some shitty paper towels that seemed to fuck the seeds up!so can i just plant the seeds-ime sure about e-thing else,just not germination.

@xazobiolia15 it called hydoton, its expanded clay pellets, you can get it at osh, maybe home depot, definitely at any hydroponic store, but lava rocks work just as good.

OH YEAH... and some kind of tomatoe seeds or similar blooming type plant seeds... lol
