Esta canción, de mi autoría y debidamente registrada, está en mi disco Maya Mayik de Alfredo Roel.

Soy un músico mexicano que admira las culturas prehispánicas y como artista contemporáneo escribo música y letras inspirado en las mismas, con todo respeto y sin ninguna pretensión de que sea "música prehispánica", si utilizando replicas de instrumentos autóctonos, pero como expongo en mi disco, son composiciones contemporáneas y propias.

En cuanto a esta composición específicamente y sobre todo la letra les platico: Regresando de un viaje en Quintana Roo, donde tuvimos la gran experiencia de conocer Pak Chen, un lugar maravilloso cerca relativamente de Tulum, mi hijito, al cual le pusimos de nombre Zazil, que tenia escasos año y medio de edad, nos llamo la atención en este lugar que los niños que conoció le hablaban en su idioma nativo.

El sin poder hablar todavía ni siquiera el español y estando gravándolo en casa sus maravillosos sonidos y primeras palabras, se me ocurrió preguntarle que le decían los niños de este lugar, a lo que me contesto: AYA LLEGUEBO LOBUMU MAYA !

Que quiere decir?...ni él sabe, o se acuerda cuando lo dijo, pero esa grabación, que es la que se oye al principio de esta melodía es la que origino este tema!

Los del gobierno si son una bola de idiotas pero no oprimen indígenas, sus lenguajes son patrimonio nacional, les dan libros en sus idiomas, hay medios de comunicación que transmiten en sus lenguajes, etc, y no los exterminan como en otros paises. Ademas ellos se quedan con el dinero de los turistas.
