  • And the first person to break the sound barrier on land was...UK......?

  • No mention of Mickey Thompson who went 403+ MPH in the early 1960s. A one way time but still a very significant LSR event. No Summers brothers goldenrod.

No Glen Leasure in Palamedise Infinity Jet. Graded Incomplete.

  • wow no mickey thompson mention

  • audio track that has not been authorized by WMG

    The audio has been disabled

    That's just sad !

  • Henry Segrave first did 203mph in the Sunbeam in 1927 and then after Campbell had raised it to 206mph in 1928 (with one of the first Bluebird cars), Segrave did 230mph with the Golden Arrow in 1929 on Daytona Beach.

Ray Keech shortly held the record in 1928 with the White Triplex.

Campbell re-designed and improved the Bluebird frequently until his 1935 version which did 300mph. Eyston's Thunderbolt and Cobb's Railton were the first to be designed with superior aerodynamics in mind in the 30's

  • haha no audio because you stole it. What a fucking loser.

  • Too bad about the sound....

  • Thank you, so very much.

  • This is just awesome!
