  • Chase HQ innit.

  • Best V8 sound forever!!

  • @mrdemolitionman99, the 928 is the best. Lends itself well to mods for racing and eats corvettes and 944's, happy motoring. They do really great with superchargers

  • 928 GTS is indeed a magnificent beast. Seems to be quite difficult to find one with a manual transmission. In North America anyway.

  • yes you're right! it is in a class of its own- SLOW- lol Ive driven and serviced many of the gts's and they are nice and look sporty but trully are heavy and sluggish. granted they are faster than the regular 928's im not sure about 968's but me personally will stay loyal to 911's =) not hating just saying... I know how u 928 owners are. passionate

  • 928 is the only porsche that went 171 mph and handled around turns the best in the 80s and much of the 90s. The vicious power was from about 50mph and up. The transaxle is centered allowing it to handle sharp turns in a superior way.

  • super video, super car!!

  • even Tony Montana knew about the 928

  • isnt the 944 turbo a better porsche? how about the 928 GT vs GTS? im planing on getting one but not sure which one to go for which is the best candidate for mods to get more power and handling for racing?? it cant be a 911 cuz theyr expensive which is the best 9 series porsche?? 944/928 others?

  • @MrDemolitionman99 Ive had my 944 turbo for almost a year now and i cant say enough good about it. You can mod the hell out of it and the power is rediculous.

  • The shots of this car are impressive.

  • This car is one of a kind.

  • This video is killing me! Every time i get into mine i hear that music now. lol

  • Such an awesome car that should have never gone out of production.

  • I've had mine for 10 years... loved the 928 for 15 years before that.

Happy Anniversary to me on a 25 year love affair!

  • Great video, such a nice edit... Very nice music and awesome car!

  • ... I feel like Scarface when Im in my Shark.. Let me introduce you to my little friend!

  • Love the Supercar Sunday footage!

  • Great video. I had a black 928S when I was younger. It was absolutely the best car I have ever driven. Solid engineering and build quality. And a monstrous V8. ( not to mention that it was the iconic car from 'Risky Business', 'Weird Science', and 'Scarface'. This GTS version was the ultimate - if you could find one out of the 270 total production that wasn't an automatic transmission

  • Better looking than the 911.

  • VOLL gEILE KISTE

  • Ya damn right it is.

  • LOVE this car!!! would kill to save this car from any kind of harm!!! wish i could have one.

BEST DAMN CAR EVER MADE!! :D

  • The design and engineering in this beast really is modern, even 25 years on, the flush tail lamps, memory seats and 316 Hp in S4 are completely contemporary, the GTS even more so...wow what a car, imagine 25 more years of Porsche evolution on this model and it really would've been a sight to behold, but the potential would've been astounding.

  • Great video!!! It might be possible that Porsche will do a 2+2 GT out of the Panamera.. this would be a kind of 928 successor.

  • I comment so much on this car but it really does have a PRESENCE on the road - I usually prefer light weight machines but this technical tour de force has it's place - saw a gorgeous silver GTS commuting to work and it really is a sight to behold....even today.

  • Tony Montana love his. I've always wanted one.

  • 1up for the Scarface music. So well suited for this car.

  • I'm not a fan of driving for more than 4 hours at a time, but give me the GTS and I could easily sail from coast to coast....perhaps only and Audi S5 or a Carrera4S could match the abilities of this beauty years after it has passed....ok, I'll add the DBS (and hopefully a new RS5) to this short list of sweets rides.....GT's rule

  • The 928 GTS is the best car ever produced

  • I agree with you , I own one :D (Y)

  • without doubt the most underrated car ever made

the conservative old Porsche 911 enthusiasts didn't like it when it was first introduced in 1978, but it was way more refined and modern that the 911 was at the same time

However time proved the 928 right, and the owners loved it. It was the best GT car in the 80's, and probably early 90's as well

  • There is simply no better """GT""" car than a 928 - even with it's last generation discontinued over a decade ago it's still comparable to modern GT's, "so far ahead of it's time"...real car guys admire this level of engineering. I adore these land missles....

  • I own a 944 with quite a few modifications in beautiful condition, but my friend out runs me in his 928 GTS all the time. Your car is amazing! I plan on buying one this comming year.

  • i got a 79 928.. i love it.. exactly like the car of tony montana SCARFACE but with S kit and spoilers.. the shape is fantastic!! (im not a fan of the 924 & 968, the 944 is ok)

have you guys seen the 2012 concept of the 928?? looks real nice.. hopefully the reincarnation will drive the prices of the classic 928 up.. good for us owners bad for you dreamers. haha

  • I love my 928. :)

  • same !!!!!!!

  • I have a 1983 928s Manual transmistion but needs $3000. Will sell for $8500

  • those wheels are hideous!

  • I have owned ferrari's lambo's maserati's, porsche's & my all time all around car is the 928 porsche, can fit your bags, back seats are ok for the kids, has the looks, & the drive is comfortible, & fast. harder & harder to see, now a days in the USA, I remember buying a 1986 back in 1990 & when i sold it i wished i never did, resently picked one up, needs a little love its a S4, body is straight, interior is good, paint needs a new one, will put some love into it & then wont sell this one : )~

  • I've driven Ferraris and many other exciting exotic cars that many dream about. I drove the 928 and I honestly have to say, that car is amazing, way ahead of it's time. It was every bit exciting to drive today, handles beautifuly, power on tap and timeless lines. By far, the best Porsche sitting in its own class of excellence.

  • I had the S4 and loved it until I blew the engine up. I once did 128miles at 125mph average in it. Very easy to drive fast.

  • Definitly...the best looking Porsche ever...

  • No doubt about that!

  • For people who know about cars this is one of the all time ultimates. There is no better bad boy car, i saw one the other day in central london at the lights opposite me. it looked awesome even though its over 13 years old.....if only porsche made it today. the only way you could have made it look out of sorts was if you had a lambo parked next to it. Its got such presence. love it.

  • @speedfr38ky except the 928 is over 30 years old and hasnt really changed since it came out in the late 70s. it is in my opinion one of the greatest cars ever. fastest production car in its day, first to have passive rear steering, first to have the transmission at the back for weight balance. porsche was doing this stuff b4 the rest of the world even knew about it

  • nice video but more of a scarface clip??

  • Best Porsche ever..........

  • The 928 is so unique, so purposeful. Fast, powerful and comfortable as a true GT should be.

There is a certain mystic about these cars that I can't put my finger on but would love to one one someday....sadly they never continued their development (as they were so far ahead of their time)and instead built the Cayenne.

  • The Porsche 928 is one of the most beautiful cars ever made. Great video. I can't wait to see yours mhickory.

  • Great video. Would love to see a longer video showcasing the car more. Great camera work and editing.

  • in a few weeks, you will get your wish. working on a very awesome and descriptive video on the 928!!!!

  • the video is so good just didnt like the 1:07 - 1:10, very nice indeed

  • you didnt like the back of the car? it's beautiful!

  • nice movie of a super car !!!!
