The timing of his death on CHRISTMAS DAY, and right after being able to share his message of his otherworldly encounters, is just mind-boggling! If I didn't believe in pre-ordained timing of events before, I think I am more likely to now! Ben was one amazing young man for making his family & all of America youtube & news watchers aware of HCM. He was diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy(HCM) at 13 months. I, myself was diagnosed at 13yrs.old. Although, his story saddenens me & overwhelms me too...It is good to hear of his near death experiences & how he felt such a good feeling & was at peace. The first time that I saw this video, was sent to me in a link. It was a news feed about the video going viral. But as I watched it, I realised i was seeing something special. Someone I didn't know, but a story I had heard before. This reminded me of my friend Alexandr Burke, who died at 19 of kidney failure. The parallels here just amazes me! Ben was a very selfless person who only wanted to help other kids, and people in general. We are definitely going to miss his wisdom here. RIP.

@lucymight I am sure he is experiencing the peacefulness that I also had back when I had 8 heart attacks and 3 arrests in a period of 2 weeks. Coming out of the coma I just wanted to return to that bliss, however I was a fighter and survived now in my 18th year although my heart is now giving up and the peace I knew is coming soon. God bless Ben and his family, I hope to see him on the other side.

Listen this is not the place to get into an argument over who does or doesnt believe in a god, I was a nurse for 30 years, 22 years of that workiing in ICU and saw alot of people young and old die horrible deaths, that is one reason i called myself an atheists, but when I came so close to dying myself and saw and heard what i went thur it changed my mind, i pray alot, my health is bad, and i cant imagine going thur your whole life sick like he did, very brave man at 18, he is with god now.
Life is not fair, this young man had his whole life ahead i wonder why they didnt do a heart transplant, maybe because not enough people are donating them, but i can answer that question he asked, do you believe in GOD, I DO, well i didnt not really until after my open heart surgery back in Feb 28, afterwards i say angel, the Virgin Mary and Pope John Paul II in my room everynight with angels singing above my bed, this went on for 2 or 3 nights, Yes there is a GOD, and Ben is in heaven now.
What a beautiful young man whose parents have to be proud beyond words. I've just watched his final, index card videos and just cried and cried. Being an RN, I can only imagine the fears he's had to overcome with the diagnosis he had been given. I have two sons Ben's age and those videos broke my heart. The only thing I can hope for is that he is back in that peaceful room that he did not want to leave. May his soul rest in peace. May God bless and keep you Ben. You have touched so many souls.

Ben was one amazing young man for making his family & all of America youtube & news watchers aware of HCM. He was diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy(HCM) at 13 months. I, myself was diagnosed at 13yrs.old. Although, his story saddenens me & overwhelms me too...It is good to hear of his near death experiences & how he felt such a good feeling & was at peace. The first time that I saw this video, was sent to me in a link. It was a news feed about the video going viral. But as I watched it, I realised i was seeing something special. Someone I didn't know, but a story I had heard before. This reminded me of my friend Alexandr Burke, who died at 19 of kidney failure. The parallels here just amazes me! Ben was a very selfless person who only wanted to help other kids, and people in general. We are definitely going to miss his wisdom here. RIP.

@lucymight I am sure he is experiencing the peacefulness that I also had back when I had 8 heart attacks and 3 arrests in a period of 2 weeks. Coming out of the coma I just wanted to return to that bliss, however I was a fighter and survived now in my 18th year although my heart is now giving up and the peace I knew is coming soon. God bless Ben and his family, I hope to see him on the other side.

The great thing about this, is his family and all his friends and his Christian family will one day meet Ben again, he just made it to heaven sooner than we have, for that im jealous, I just pray for those who are going to have to have open heart surgery for it was the worst thing i ever went thur and hope god is kind to me like he was with Ben next time and just take me right away.

Listen this is not the place to get into an argument over who does or doesnt believe in a god, I was a nurse for 30 years, 22 years of that workiing in ICU and saw alot of people young and old die horrible deaths, that is one reason i called myself an atheists, but when I came so close to dying myself and saw and heard what i went thur it changed my mind, i pray alot, my health is bad, and i cant imagine going thur your whole life sick like he did, very brave man at 18, he is with god now.

Life is not fair, this young man had his whole life ahead i wonder why they didnt do a heart transplant, maybe because not enough people are donating them, but i can answer that question he asked, do you believe in GOD, I DO, well i didnt not really until after my open heart surgery back in Feb 28, afterwards i say angel, the Virgin Mary and Pope John Paul II in my room everynight with angels singing above my bed, this went on for 2 or 3 nights, Yes there is a GOD, and Ben is in heaven now.

What a beautiful young man whose parents have to be proud beyond words. I've just watched his final, index card videos and just cried and cried. Being an RN, I can only imagine the fears he's had to overcome with the diagnosis he had been given. I have two sons Ben's age and those videos broke my heart. The only thing I can hope for is that he is back in that peaceful room that he did not want to leave. May his soul rest in peace. May God bless and keep you Ben. You have touched so many souls.
