no, it's not. this isn't the prom, it's a performance. that means that if a person is on stage, it's his/her responsibility to represent the genre of choice with at least some minimum of effort and poise. i don't see that from anyone but the white guy. i have a group of american black kids that i've taught to dance way better than this, and it's not even their culture. don't make excuses for these people.
