  • no such thing as spot fat reduction, so if you dont already have fat loss in other areas ull burn the fat in other places before u see your abs start to show

  • @kiwiiboii not necessarily..you do start to lose muscle after long periods of doin just running..now if you're doing hiit then you can build lean muscle (notice olympic sprinters)...but if you just jog for an hour you're actually going for the more kenyan look

    All you need is out there and you can use your body as weights in so many ways.

  • @cheerup95 actually what u're saying is more stupid. my cousin who's a marine engineer is really fit even though he and his 2 friends finish a truckload of food in a week or 2. reason for fitness? constantly haing to run up and down the stairs of the ship, playing outdoors, and exercise.

The stomach is the first place to put on fat and the last place for it to come off. Cruel but true. So if you wanna drop belly fat you gotta take it off everywhere and be patient.

  • Hey guys I'm 15 years old and I weight 95 kilos( 184 cm tall) Won't cardio help me ? :S Cause' I've been doing it for like 3 weeks now. I run 5 kilometers at morning like 3-4 times a week with 3-4 times having a break for like 10-20 secs. Isn't it going to help me? I also have dumbells at home, I exercise for biceps, triceps and I also do 2 kinds of stomach exercises(one for lower muscles, one for upper ones), and ofc- a diet - If anyone can help, please type me a message =)

  • Good nutrition and cardio is the only way to get a 6 pack. This method only works if you already have lost all fat except for the fat on your belly. Ab exercises don't give you flat abs, they just make your abs stronger and bigger.

  • Ok. I did this four week routine over the summer. I think its a great progression, from week to week and very effective. With the holidays, I am 10 lbs over my maintenance weight, so time to start at square one. I'm diving in for 4 weeks of this, w/hiit on opposite days and back to eating whole foods. wish me luck! I'll check back in in a month.

  • @farah896 hold pushup position until muscle failure everytime before you sleep. After you are able to do a pushup, you will improve quickly

  • @farah896 you can do push ups unless you don't have arms. Start with a couple in three sets then gradually increase the number. This should work.

  • haha dude, i've never done any pushups in my life, then i tried doing em i did 1 and fell, tells say u can do 2, tomorrow do 3, the next day 4 5 increase by 1 every day til u reach 50

  • doing that it will take you 50 days to do 50 pushups. it would at the end be pointless. to wait over a month just to be able to do pushups?

  • do the math. 1 + 2 + 3 + 4....and keep doing that to 50. In end, you would have done 1275 pushups.

    3000 calories in a pound.

    if everyday you just eat 215 less calories, and burn off 215 less calories, then thats one pound a week!!

  • no, I've seen them do it, cardio is aerobic conditioning, which basically programs your muscles and heart to handle cardiovascular activity better, and I haven't done real cardio except for occasional sprints for ages, and I've kept my weight down with heavy and fast weight movements, which raise your metabolic rate far more than cardio does, and why would they be dead? they're simply running with excess baggage, it'll just make them slower, imagine if they dropped the weight then ran again.

  • i know that your heart rate needs to be at a certain rate (depending on your weight, but around 140bpm) to burn fat. Any more than this will just be good for your heart, but will burn minimal fat. True, you can lose weight just by eating healthily but it will probably be a longer, slower process

  • yeah exercise, sleep and diet all together is the best method, but running for 2 hours on a treadmill is just plain wrong, and it's catabolic, breaking down muscle proteins and actually building fat, compare a sprinter to a marathon runner, a sprinter will have a lower body fat level and more muscle than a marathon runner. cardio is good, but in moderation and it depends on the type

  • Yep I agree. The best type of cardio workouts to help you burn belly fat are sprints. Heck just compare a sprinter's body (nice lean muscles), to a long distance runner's body (thin, but sometimes with very little muscle tone).

  • Guys you need to do the round the world core workout, it targets ALL areas of your core, not just one spot like crunches do.

    Go to google and type in- around the world core exercises.

    You will not be dissapointed.

    Combine this with some running as well and you will have a good plan!

  • Man simple formula to lose weight at maximum speed is this: (1) stop eating junk food, including diet sodas and (2) workout (jog for like 30 minutes each day and add like 20 pushups and situps). You'll be have healthy intake, improve your heart muscle, and your body strength. Within 2 weeks booyaka, trust me.

  • I started this routine-week 1, yesterday. I got a digital "egg" timer. It works well but the minimum time is 1 min. but since its digital its easy to see the 30 second mark and its neat because it will reset to 1 min. with the push of a button. Scott, I'm surprised in some of your videos that you don't emphasize more the importance form. While doing these exercises, a person should really remember to pull their belly button into their spine, for best results and no injury or strain. Thanks!

  • This is awesome! I been doing this and man let me tell you its not easy as you think it KILLS! But i can feel my body getting used to it now after the 2nd week(a little). The excersize at 1:13 is one i havnt done yet and I cant still figure out where to do it as my nearest park is like miles away. If i do it in the house ill end up tying it to something stupid and end up breaking something I JUST KNOW IT!. ..........Oh well ill just blame Mr Colby.......LOL

    Yes I'm a big fan of workouts you can do anywhere with little to no equipment. No travel time to the gym or waiting in line. I'm trying to put the "I have no time to exercise" excuse to rest.

  • Yeah, 30 seconds is a long time for some of these exercises, like push ups. But work your way through it, give your best effort and you'll be on your to losing 4 pounds of belly fat! : )

  • You're welcome. Yes you should avoid the jumping movements if they bother your ankle. Strengthen the muscles around the ankle and also work on some balance exercises to help it get stronger as well.
