  • Great audio capture, got some tree knocks as well. The growl is exactly the same as I heard once. After lots of experimenting I have found that a wooden sledge hammer handle makes the best knocks. Keep up the great work!

  • That growl is very close to the recorder. Very, very similar to what I heard in Pigeon Forge in October 2010. Congratulations Chris!!! I also heard a very low, low frequency type sound. Do you hear it also?

  • Good work< and thank-you. Those vocals off in the distance sound native american. Id cross reference those vocals with your region/state's indigenous languages...just a thought

  • Strange indeed! Graet video!!!!!!

  • This is liken to chasing shadows. If I were you I would stay out of the forest.

  • @flycatchful Thanks for the advice. I will stay out of the forest from now on.

  • @impossiblevisits LOL, he does the same crap to me. He actually tells me that I'm hindering the discovery of bigfoot. lol

  • awesome job

  • I am always watching your video's and I must say that I really enjoy them all. I live here in NC and have always had a fascination with sasquatch. I would love to do what you do...just wouldn't know where to start. Thanks for what you're out there doing!

  • @cooliodude416 NC is a great spot to do Sasquatch field research. Write me with your email address and I will sesnd you some tips. That goes for anyone who'd like to read these tips.

  • You know.....with my good headphones, I swear I can hear heave breaths or breathing a few times. Did you notice that at all?

  • This audio is amazing, Chris! The "hoo" vocalization REALLY has a primate sound to it. Wow!

  • my thoughts, tree knocking is some just started to think bf`s do that.

  • @ericou812 What do you mean?

  • Chris do you think the HOO and snarl were right next to microphone ?

  • Amazing audio !

  • great work

im just wondering what he/she was snarling at

    a youngster messing about

    annoyed at your presence

    or snarling at another adult

listning to them in their eviroment is just as good as any video

  • For shure, the snarl is very close to the one I heard in 1977 during by close encounter. I will never forget it.

  • What part of Texas is this? I live in central north Texas by the Red River. Do you ever hear of anything going on around hear? Great audio, thank you for shaing.

  • doesn't bother me I love sound files and understand the tremendous effort/tedium to make available to us...great stuff really.
