I'm sure he will get a lot better whith time. Basketball is not popular in Brazil. They don't play basketball in that country, it's all about soccor. I went there in May of this year and the people there thought I was Michael Jordan because I'm 6'4 and had his T-shirt on. I look nothing like MJ and he is about 7 skin tones darker than me. I had a lot of people asking me if was a NBA player also. That just goes to show that basketball is not that popular there.

basketball is more popular than nba in Brazil. Every single kid learns basketball in school. It's third sport here (1-Football, 2- Volleyball, 3-Basketball.... dont know about this "soccer" stuff). A good place to play basketball in São Paulo is ibirapuera park (folks that play streetball there defeated And1). And yes...people were joking with u about MJ.

He has a nice jump shot for a 7 footer but he needs to learn to go to the hoop with strength. There are also questions about his leaping ability considering his height he doesn't exactly tower above the rim.

But, he's only 18 and spent most of his youth playing soccer in brazil. So lots of room to grow.
