@pickle2501 Too bad PCs use better hardware and are generally more powerful than Macs. The only thing Macs have going for them is most media editing software (i.e. recording programs) are designed for Macs and then ported to PCs so they run better on Macs. Other than that Macs are overpriced shit just like pretty much every other Apple product.

@FergusVonMarkusson Yes, I have. Its an overpriced piece of junk just like anything else Apple puts out. If you line up specs you can get a PC equivalent to any Mac for a fraction of the price. Also, Apple uses hardware that was used in PCs about five years ago - that's how far their production is behind in the technology department. What's considered "good" in a Mac is considered "Outdated junk" if it were put in a PC.

... I reckon it takes a few days, maybe a week for some to get used to the different OS and the way it works, but once you've done that it's all good. The one thing I will say is that the magic mouse needs some more thought.. just get a nice generic WiFi mouse for half the price and you'll be laughing...

What's with the apple hate? Getting a mac has been incredibly helpful for my work. It is simple to use, never breaks down and allows for slick, advanced organisation. My brother bought one in the last year of Uni and says that it really helped him become much more productive compared to when he had a Windows, and my Dad says the same about his iMac for work. It is also the main choice for many musicians for a reason. I think Windows is alright, but you can all shut up and stop bitching.
