  • @SleepyCharMonkey You mean, balisong?

  • Action speaks louder than words I guess.

  • @sleepycharmonkey

Please stop talking about shit you know nothing off. Legal in some parts of Canada. Not all.

  • This weapon is illegal in Canada as it is spring assisted. All assisted blades are illegal for citizens to carry, including momentum assisted blades (eg. balay song)

  • Oh its a knife...its Legal in world.

  • Comment removed

  • This is not legal in Canada, Australia, and probably not the 50 states either.

  • @JJKK1226 yah its legal its only got flippers assisted blades are legal as well in canada

  • @RagingOatmeal spring assisted or automatics are not legal in canada... they fall under the switchblade act.

  • @JJKK1226 i have multiple assisted blades like the sog aegis twitch and i have them even in multitools

  • @JJKK1226 Spring assisted knives are 100% legal in Canada and are available at any knife retailer. "Switchblades" or knives opened by pushing a button are not. Customs made a ruling on the matter a long time ago.

  • @JJKK1226 Assisted knives are 100% legal in Canada.

  • Are your hands covered in butter or something?

  • my knife has one of those and i got it at gander mnt lol

  • not legal in Aus, i tried to import a Bee brand knife with a very similar looking opener/finger guard thing from ebay to melbourne, it go stopped by customs as it is classed as a flick knife, also not allowed are knives that can be centrifugally opened with single motion.

  • @Dmaher1111 Thats why everyone calls Australia the Nanny country. Anything slightly dangerous gets banned. Thats(not)Freedom. You poor people have so little autonomy to decide anything for yourself. If i want a OTF or SA Knive, an Airsoft M16 perhaps, Mace, Tasers Paintball guns all i gotta do is ride my motorbike...with the wind in my hair if i feel like it....to the shops and buy em, which i have of course. Australia...to many laws make it a dull sedate country.

  • @Dmaher1111 you mean flicking your wrist to open it? gerber sell one the you can buy in rays. i havent heard of that law. can you point me in the direction of legislation so i can research it please thx

  • @shlappy1 yeah, thats the motion they call centrifugal.

They use section 186 of the customs act 1901. as their power to open mail and seize items they are prohibited . Spoke to customs in length on the phone about this basically you have the right to appeal a seized item its all your cost, and before they even consider releasing goods you requre an importers permit from federal goverment that may or may not be granted. Hope this helps mate. i might check out the Gerber

  • That knife is a piece of junk.

I've never seen a good knife company make such a hack job out of a liner lock.

  • Lol then y do i have 1 XD

  • your knife isnt that tight dude

  • thats fucking retarded

  • Anything under 4 inch is useless for self defense purposes and that is why in many states you are allowed to carry a knife if is under 4 inch. Fixed blades are better for self defense anyway because of reliability. The only problem with fixed blades is that you have to wear a sheath and that may not conceal well.

  • not legal in aus dude

  • lol i dont follow yea its gona be legal cause its nothing special its an assisted open not that serious lol

  • blade-length idiot

  • Assisted opening knives are super illegal in all states of Australia so don't even bother publishing your crap all over the net.

  • not legal in florida because it open withot effort of the user.

  • Whats cool are Italian swingguard switchblades not that piece of shit with no name

  • Where'd u get it and how much

  • I don't get it. Showing off a spring assist for what reason? Also, I don't tend to like places/stores or anything of that nature that have a Z in their name. Sounds like a little kid trying to make it sound "hip". Lovely spring assist, what I would be interested in is who made it, and what kind of steel.

  • I love how he slowly wraps his fingers around the knife to show off I mean cmon Its not that amazing, that knife was probably like 10 bucks

  • Is that you crowder?

  • Does this one have a second lock to keep it from coming open in your pocket ?

  • False. That's illegal in Massachusetts. A knife has to be 100% manual (read: not SA) to be legal.

  • yes, it is legal to own in australia, but is illegal to import

  • @ToxicLegend1 then where you get it? any ideas?

  • @ToxicLegend1 it is illegal get your fact straight...only manual openers are legal. Go read the law buddy...

  • @gloomysuicidal no you are wrong, you can buy assisted openers in australia but can not import them

  • @ToxicLegend1 name a place

  • @CNCTEMATIC melboune victoria

  • @ToxicLegend1 I meant a vendor. One. I know them all in Melbourne. Inc websites.

  • ozknifeliquidators

  • @ToxicLegend1 they dont sell this model, nor any autos or assists whatsoever. Yr claim is starting to look comprehensively like BS spam. gottcha some attention tho, so i guess mission accomplished .... :-/

  • @gloomysuicidal

    only manuals are legal wtf

    that sucks dick for Australians

  • that things a POS!

  • its just spring assisted stupid its not illegal

  • @xlestat007 well a button and flipper are very different, with the flipper you are pushing the actual blade, nothing attached to the handle so it doesn't open automatically, "Switchblade knife" means any knife which has a blade which opens automatically by hand pressure applied to a button, spring or other device in the handle of the knife. " see, thats a quote on new york knife laws

  • what about californias 2" rule?

  • i have i like that but bigger so FUCK YOUUUUUUU

  • hmm... thats strange... i live in massachusetts (USA)

and i seem to be holding a knife very similar...

well, looks like its time to turn myself in guys.

  • @motocrossdude11

in the US theres no such thing as an illegal knife.

theres laws against carrying certain knives on your person however

  • You have very fat hands.

  • i live in utah and have that same knife and i can carry it around legally without a permit you douche bag

  • exactly right that is spring assisted. which means you have to open before the spring takes over. switchblades will open by just clicking a button. another differemce is switchblades have resistance when shuttinh them where as spring assists dont

  • @bigdbigdbigd143 nah man! Yes it says "spring" assisted. But there isnt an exact coil under tension. Theres bars in the handle of the knife called tension bars. So there isnt a spring, its tension bars. Same concept on regular swiss army pocket knifes, theres tension bars but dont fling open. It is under tension by the tension bars until you hit the 90 degree mark, then its opens easy.

  • that's a switchblade is not legal in NYC you can get arrested just for mere possession.

  • @xlestat007 no its not, its a spring assisted knife, this means you have to open the blade to about 45 degrees and the spring takes over, a switchblade had a button that you press to activate the blade

  • @KeirnTheGreat I guess you can make that argument in court. But, as far as the New York Penal Law 265.01 that constitutes as one of the the the seven deadly weapons which states that if a button is pressed to release the blade that is a switchblade as suppose to have a folding knife.

  • @xlestat007 yes that is true, but if you look closely it isn't actually a button, its a flipper on the blade, if it is on the handle, that makes it illegal, but it isn't

  • @KeirnTheGreat It doesn't matter if it is a button, a flipper or if its on the handle or not, just the fact that it opens when a flipper or a button its pressed to automatically open the blade makes it a switchblade which is illegal at least in NYC.

  • @xlestat007 that is an assisted opening knife not a switchblade. i own 6 different switchblades and 9 assisted opening knives. there is a big difference. assisted opening knives like the one in the video are legal. if you want i will even make a video showing you the difference

  • u cud see by the way he holds it that he has killed before lolXD

  • so dumb my friend has it its not

  • thats a bitch knife xD grow a pair!

  • Can't be legal in Australia cause it uses Springs

  • @iJoshsubscribed lol, wrong

  • @TheTruthIsTwisted Well customs takes them anyway..

  • theese people say that having a more than 2 inch blade is illigal is it true?

  • Not legal in Chicago. xD they are like < 3" I think. Least in Texas we got 5.5" rule

  • Legal all over the world --- but not in Germany ... (One hand folders are forbidden since some years ...) ...

  • this knife cant be legal in cali cause they only allow a 2 inch blade. this is not 2 inches

  • @copperjarhead wrong! i live in Long Beach, and i have been arrested by cops and i told them that i had a concealed weapon, it was a 8 inch fixed blade, and that asked me to give it to them. So i did and when they let me go they gave my knife back so its not illegal

  • @KnifesForUs gues then the laws changed, unless you need a liscence for it. please enlighten me on the knife laws in cali.

  • @copperjarhead if your over 18 in california fixed bladed knives are legal as long as its not concealed(unless you have a concealed weapons license) for butterfly knives any length is legal to own but it cannot be on your person outside of your house unless the blade is under 2 inches same goes for any otf knife, automatics

  • @copperjarhead and switchblades over 2 inches are illegal to own and illegal to carry, spring assisted knives(such as the one in the video) are legal to own and carry though the debate goes on on folding knife length( a lot of sites have said under 4 inches is legal over is not but some have also said there is no defined length in our laws)

  • The knife you see in the video is not spring assisted. It uses a torsion bar instead witch is legal in a lot more regions. It's more of a loophole per say actually. It's not legal everywhere but it is in a lot more places than actuator knives. Get your facts right.

  • It's spring loaded, NOT a switch blade. Your areas laws are dumb.

  • depending on where u live this knife could be illegal, for instance it is illegal where i live because where i live they changed the law to that any knife that can be opened with one hand is illegal which means that the only knives that are legal to carry are fixed blades under 4" and slip joints.

  • @HPIracing111

    You're in NY, aren't you?

  • why are your hands so greasy

  • @motleycrue15 thats what i was thinking

  • its legal cuz its a fuckin assisted knife u hav to push the flipper down which starts the action of opening it then the spring takes it

  • what makes it so illegal??

  • in Australia, spring assisted knives are illegal, yet I have a 6 inch blade muela which is much more dangerous then that tiny ass knife

  • spring assisted knives are cool and all but honestly a normal tactical folder should be fine, if you know how to use one you can open it just as fast if not faster and plaus spring assists end being a hassle cause youre constantly having to maintain it and check it to make sure its tightened and okay as opposed to a regular folder you only need to do that once in a great while...i recommend you get you get a nice spyderco or cold steel or something of the like

  • illegal in Canada

  • Now make a knife made out of butter. Than it would be legal in the UK!

  • In Soviet Russia, knife springs you

  • @SuperMiller1000 so funny...

  • in canada, spring assisted knives are still ilegal

  • @ShadyBorowka no they are not automatic knives are illegal

  • @ShadyBorowka Bullshit. Assisted opening are legal.

To all the dumb fuck that thumb his comment up. Check the facts first.

  • @newtubetubetube I apologize for my ignorance, and there is no need to become so defensive, however. To date, I have been unable to obtain an assisted opening knife. I have also been told on multiple occasions that these knives are illegal, therefore I thought that they were. Once again, I apologize, but a friendlier reply could have been more polite and considerate.

  • @ShadyBorowka Your comment was in top rated section, therefore promoting misleading information. This need to be rectified.

I would not have bothered to respond if that was not the case. I am not sorry you got offend, but i was mostly targeting whoever pushed that misinformation up the comment list.

  • illegal???? no knife is really illegal with the right permit

  • @Xxxfindingemo123xxX yeah but most people dont know that and most of them shouldnt bc its mostly violent people trying to get them

  • are you retarded it just a assisted knife

  • spring assisteds are retarded man

  • erm i don't see how this is illegal its a spring assisted knife, that would mean almost every kershaw would be illegal

  • ok smart ass go to the police and ask them for a class m permit and or a collectors permit for knives do that and they will tell you the same thing i did balisongs are ilegal i no that flick blade arnt becuse they can be opend in two ways buy 1 hand and 2 hand thats the only reason that u can have them switch blades like otf knives are illegal spring assist are not illegal here at all by what u said any knive with thumb studs are illegal so sorry but they arnt

  • @abstar57 Longest. Sentence. Ever.

  • @xkamakazxHD lol yup

  • This knife will get you busted in Aus as others have said, they have a bee up their ass about every knife around being a "switch blade" or "flick knife".

Hence why I bailed on Australia....banned or heavily restricted every hobby I had.

  • @wolfie83 lol they havent banned flick knives u just dont know where to get them i have a few myself and i havent got busted by the cops and i had mine on my table when they came once and nothing i allso have a switch blade that i orderd from the net and i got it like 5 days later allthough the sita was australian

  • @abstar57 you're an idiot, visit your local police station or ACS branch with them and see how long they're in your possession. Jump on the various Australian blade forums and ask how many knives "deemed" to be a flick knife get seized by customs every week, and then ask about the high profile cases 4 or 5 are running again ACS that is currently in the supreme court.

Just because you can source them (and realistically anyone can) doesn't make them legal.

  • @wolfie83 ok smart ass i will and i will walk out with them as i walked in with them dude i have a permit u dipshit maybe get ur facts right before u start talking shit

  • @abstar57 you cannot get a permit for button operated switchblades, balisong and some assisted openers (they are illegal, you can't get a permit to buy a bag of cocaine so the same principle applies)...try again.

  • in australia they are legal but they are illegal to import

  • i love the lame ass each finger into the grip. LMAO. a flipper linerlock with a thin liner, that is assisted, with tip down carry, look forward to a blade to the genitals eh guys?

  • this isnt legall in aus

  • @number1shooterinaus u can find them at pattys market in the city

  • Eggy661 mail it to me I can fix it

  • legal and legal to carry are two very different meanings

  • i have that one lol, dont like it much though, if you open it over and over again, the screws get loose :/

  • @eggy661 r u fro bako? california id u r are balisongs illegal here?

  • LA illegal

  • Your point?

  • just becoz its legal doesnt mean you can carry it in australia

  • are butterfly knifes illegal in canada?

  • @dog74586 yup..... witch is kind of a bitch but its alright.... we still have them lol

  • @arenmcg rofl funny how katana are not illegal but small little switch blades are XD

well katana was awesome and i hate if it was illegal

  • @dog74586 i know man!!!!!!..... i live in the sticks and do lots of bush craft and have lots of "swords" as the po po would call em but there just like 18-30 inch machetes some are just rly sick lookin so i bought them and others are like combat machetes :D

  • @UserUnknown77 new yok for sure no assisted opening knives here

  • @thanatos71209 i don't know what planet your living in, but knives are most definitely legal in NJ

  • Based on your comments, you guys really need to look into your claim "Legal in all 50 states, Australia and Canada."

  • Comment removed

  • @Ryanardo2 Actually spring assisted knives are very legal in Canada. I just got my sog aegis through CBSA, they looked at the knife, made sure it wasn’t an automatic and then charged me an extra $8.50 for duty fee’s.

  • Comment removed

  • where to buy in australia?

  • @ichbinwilhelm no if america went against canada everyone would go against america because no other countries like america because there all fatass lazy greedy war hording pieces of shit

  • It's not illegal. It's an assisted opening pocket knife. You can buy one at Walmart. I know I did. The Kershaw Tanto blur. $60.

  • Even if this knife were legal in your state does not mean that it is legal in your city. Your state and city ordinance is two different things. Weapons you can cary out of town are very different from weapons you can carry within city limits. In Kansas where I live fast opening and or spring loaded or assisted weapons are Illegal - State Code: Article 42. Crimes Against the Public Safety Weapons Control. Section 21-4201 and are also illegal in every city that you can research online.

  • In Oregon we have those every ware

  • im australian and if was caught with that id go to court and get a thousand dollar fine on the spot

  • That just seriously makes an awesome noise when it's released.

  • any knife is illegal to carry in NJ

  • not new york

  • @Bubbledume any button lever spring or gravity assisted knife over 4 inches in length is illegal in ny. i carry illegal blades all the time, i've even been arrested and gotten them back. i'm not even fucking with you

  • i have a spring operated switchblade that opens with a press of a button...however i'm planning to get a switch blade similar to wat u have on the video...the only thing i'm curious to know is how do u cause the blade to open with out putting ur thumb on either the back or the front knobs?... cause i've seen some vids that show how they seem to just squeeze the handle and the blade pops out...and there is know button on the handle at all...

  • @MetallicBlack86 the button is under the handle on those knives, so when you squeeze it, it hits the button. you cant do it with these knives

  • what kind of knife is this

  • Definitely not legal in CT.

  • u so stupid its just a fucken assisted knife nit a switch blade

  • In Australia having a bullet proof vest is just as illegal as having an automatic weapon or any illegal firearm , so you are not allowed to defend yourself. I ask myself , what possible reason could there be to ban bullet proof vests and treat the ownerof one in the same manner that onewould be treatedfor being caught with an illegal machine gun ? Theonly answer I can come up with is ... then the government /police cant be guaranteed of killing you first shot. I honestly cant think of another.

  • @illuminOz That's awful. Revolt.

  • Not legal in most of Australia as far as i know maybe in the state ofWestern Australia but not sure in many Austraian states its illegal to have ANY sort of knife at all on you including little tiny 1 inch blades on a keyring penknife/nail file , what a pathetic country and a joke . Your not allowed to defend yourself in Australia your expected to allow yourself to be murdered then if thekeystone cops can be bothered they might investigate and maybe the murderer might get 5-15 years for it .

  • my friend says that my spring assisted knife is illegle please reply say if they are leagle or not

  • @MeloMan723 - Depends on where you live. I live in Virginia and they are perfectly legal. You can even carry them concealed in your pocket!

  • @mtrtrm i live in new york r they leagle there?

  • @MeloMan723 city or state? if its city, the blade has to be under 4 inches, but it can be assisted

  • @jungleprimitive

They're illegal in NYC, Chicago, and Minnesota. Spring assisted knives are considered automatic openers in MN.

  • Those are banned in MN. Switchblades and spring-assisted openers. Closers are fine though.

  • ffffff

  • why wouldnt that be legal

  • @flappycornflakes, I believe blades can only be 3 inches long.

  • @flappycornflakes Knives aren't PC anymore didn't you know

  • i dont see why knives are illegal in britain,

civilians need protection against the black gangs and the drug dealers which have now found themselves into my village,

  • umm, interesting design, is their a tear down video?

  • if you are serched by the cops (sorry for the english) do you get arrested by having them? im not talking if you are in a fight of course but like a rotine search or something

  • @brsoulfly

Always check with your local laws before buying and carrying a blade that's what i do :). Anything under 4" non-switchblade should be fine really (your laws may vary)

  • @brsoulfly my state laws say if it has a 4 inch blade or less and the blade is not released by a button, gravity, a switch that you push or a flick of a wrist without a stub or hole helping you, than you are allowed to carry without a permit but only use for self defence in public. you can use a knive for any use on private property exept murder or violence.

  • Dude, I don't know how long ago you checked, but spring assisted openers aren't legal knives in Canada.

  • so why do you have one if illegal

  • oooh its a knife.... its not a switch blade, there's nothin special about it.

  • In Massachusetts the only weapon you can have is your fists, and if you use them improperly they confiscate them
