Thanks so much for this. I knew Paul from when we were both about 3 years old until I lost contact with him over 30 years ago. From your description he was clearly unchanged in so many ways - even the toast! (He loved it burnt to a crisp when were kids.) It was with great sadness to learn that he is gone, I would have dearly loved the chance to see him again. Anyway, sounds like he made some true friends. God bless you and thanks for all you did for him.
Thank you - it was our way of saying goodbye to a man that no-one in Glastonbury had a bad word to say about. He always gave people the time of day, and was one of life's true gentlemen.
What a lovely youtube video. I remember Paul well from when I ran the Vine (the "little vine") in Norwich. A lovely character, I truly have only good memories of him. We exhibited his paintings in the pub one time, and the first sold before it had got on the wall!
thanks for helping me know more about one of Glastonbury's icons, I hope he can receive all the good wishes people are expressing about his presence in the community.

Thank you for posting this. I knew Paul very well when he was in Norwich and often wondered where he was now.... Very sad news. A true character.
