No this was not taped in a basement, this was taped in Germany where Brandon was promoting RAPID FIRE. And he really said FUC* YOU. How did I know?

I was sitting right next to him, when he said it. I cut this piece together (wich is 30 min long, by the way) and called it THE BRANDON LEE TAPES. I know it would turn up on You Tube some day.

Yes it totally was.

Meeting Brandon in person was pretty surreal. And I have to say, I was afraid, cause I thought: "what when Brandon Lee, son of Bruce Lee - my all time hero - is a douche?".

But my worries where totally unnecessary, cause he was very polite, fun, easy going and very approachable.

Five month after recording this evening, Brandon was dead.

A friend told me, that some accident has happend at a set of THE CROW. Later that day, a friend - the guy who was asking Brandon the question which he answerd with "Fu'++ Y++ - left a message on my answering machine. I have to call him back immediately, I kew something bad has happend.

You have missed out the best section at the beginning where Brandon is on stage answering questions from the audience and that annoying translator. "Hello Dusseldorf...or Munich...or wherever I am tonight!"

As for you getting the footage from me... no sir. This is the first I've ever mentioned it. It's been sitting in a box in the attic for years! My little quote about the German cities could be wrong too, as it was done from memory.

Ha! I've got this on video too and didn't think anyone else had it at all. I got it from Shaolin Video in London in the early nineties. There is a great bit that last for about 15 minutes at the beginning where Brandon stands on stage and answers questions from the audience. Although he could easily have pissed them off by saying "Hello Dusseldorf... or Munich... or wherever I am tonight"!

It's rare for Brandon to use the F word in a interview but he has allways said that he is own person but the critics are critics they are very negative, one sided and refuse to be openminded about things so Brandon was just being Brandon which is an honest genuine person.

It's great to be able to hear / view all this great footage. Thanks heaps for posting this and sharing it with us. There is not all that much footage being made available to fans so it's great to see someone making an effort to put this stuff out. Thanks again!!! Hopefully, someday we will get to see the interview with Brandon Lee that was conducted on the set of the Crow with Brandon in full make up and costume!! It's somewhere locked up in a vault.
