Someone told me that this song has the deepest bass ever put in a song, is that true? I tried it and my stereo couldn't play it, the bass just disappeared.
I do not understand exactly what is happening in this video, or what it is about. However, I find it strangely hypnotic and haunting, in a memorable way.
@blobvision Electric pianos and organs along with the original synth called Moog came along in the sixties.
I dont recall much electronic instrumentation till after 1960. Les Paul gave us electrified Guitar in the 50s. Pop music in the 60s gave us Electronic organ and piano with the the Motown sound from people like Stevey Wonder and Jimmy Smith. Brilliant music in every era. Thats to my recollection anyway.
Speakers,eh? How's about a pair of B&W Nautilus from 1999? They serve me more than adequetly for my com. mons. Actually, they kick serious ass. No reason to 'tube vids without a solid set of noise-throwers.
Male sure you have good equipment to enjoy this,the bass is awesome! Ideally a pair of 18 or 24 inch bass speakers with a very good power amp! Anything less than and it won't sound so good.
I have Infinity Gamma speakersfrom the late 80's. They have a pair of 12" woofers per side. They can go down to 15hz, because of a servo crossover. Tight and low bass. Most giant woofers are sloppy low with no slam. Damping factor on amps is crucial for control.

@BigLesbowski I'd even go so far as saying it started in the early 60s in some universities in Munich. According to Krautrock history that is.

@spacecowboy5000
i meant the invasion of electronics into masses via TV, radio, concerts and records
theremin & telharmonium were built even earlier - almost 100 years ago

@BigLesbowski Electronic music appeared way before the 60's kids.

The bass is so deep and massive on this one, I love it. But you really need a hifi setup in order to appreciate it.
