For the function y=(-1-2x)/(x-1), we evaluate @ x=0 and GET y=1, The x-intercept is x=-1/2. Then the left branch of the graph should intersect the negative x-axis and the positive y axis. It still is a hyperbola and it still is a flip about the line y=x of the function y=(x-1)/(x+2).
a little quick, but helpful

In the last couple of minutes there is an error!
