The Dap-Kings said they went to James Brown University, and Sharon, studied Patti, Aretha, Otis, Old Soul. She is from Augusta Georgia like James Brown. Amy can immitate ,but she cant dance and sing, and Sharon gives a hella funky show, with the flavor of Black Cosmic funk, soul and dance, one has to have this. Anyway as long as the Dapkings don't pretend they created, the sound.
