Everyone one of McCain's health care posts have been disabled. I guess he and his friends don't want to see what we have to say about health care. He has been in office for decades and has done nothing to help us, so what is going to change now? End private insurance companies, they just take the money and deny service to the sick & dying.
I have a practice in Maryland that allows my patients to pay what they can afford for care- no set fees, no insurance companies, its called the HONOR FEE SYSTEM- this works!!! Check it out at taneytownchiropractic (dot) com
So basically the Health insurance companies fully support deregulation. Now THIS is scary! Even scarier is they might get their way. So now, I got a pre existing condion or I am too old, I can now be easily denied coverage, a major medical problems arises and I go into debt and file bankruptcy, Oh wait, they changed those darn bankruptcy laws too, lest we forget, and now I have to pay forever, but wait, then economy took my job to Dubai, Gee, did't they just set up the system for themselves.
The one thing I tell all Mccain suppoters is,mind you I was a undecided voter prior to the debates, is that usually whenever you see a multi billion dollar corporation or industry support something and spend millions in lobby money for something or a certain campaign, you can best believe that it is not because they have "us" in their hearts because they love and care about the customer so much. Guess which campaign is backed by the health insurance companies. I will tell you it is not Barack.
Good for you sir that you see truth and are not deluded by Republican monsters that will systematically kill you for profit! I am glad you guys elected decent, humane Obama and not callous, greedy McCain that advocates greed and organized murder.
Per last debate in case you missed it PEOPLE! Obama: Now, Sen. McCain has a different kind of approach. He says that he's going to give you a $5,000 tax credit. What he doesn't tell you is that he is going to tax your employer-based health care benefits for the first time ever.
So what one hand giveth, the other hand taketh away. He would also strip away the ability of states to provide some of the regulations on insurance companies to make sure you're not excluded for pre-existing conditions or your mammograms are covered or your maternity is covered. And that is fundamentally the wrong way to go.
And that's partly why I want Health care COVERAGE FOR ALL whether you have a job or not. I'm so sorry you do not have a job-I wish I could help. I work 24/7, 365 days a year and do not get paid. Due to circumstances, I really have no choice at this time. My job is a homemaker, maid, gardener, nurse, accountant, handyman, translator, mindreader, to name a few ,all the while caring for twins of which one has regressive Autism- & where our insurance slams the door on providing help for our son.
Oh my, yours is a long and winding road! Poor dear. It is stories like yours that need to be told. Shine a light on the BS in our country! Let us hope this giant step that Obama & Co is taking is really for our own good and not just a new twist on how to screw us because you need some help, soon! Good luck to you & yours, keep your spirits up, help is on the way!
Health care should be our right. Which is what Barack Obama believes. McCain thinks its a privilege for folks like he is - a man who has never had to pay for his own health care.
As Americans we should be ashamed to be the only industrialized country in the world that has no national health plan for its citizens.
John McCain has had government health care from the time he was born. As the dependent of a Naval Officer, he had it as a kid until he went to the Naval Academy it was provided by the Navy. Since then it has been provided by the government with his political jobs. And yes I know he spent 5 years as a POW. Still, he does not know how to relate with normal people who work for a wage and have no health benefits.
This is why my family and I are all voting for Obama. Plus being 23 and in school, I like Obama's plan about reinvesting in our country for alternative source of energy, which will help curb our dependency on oil and help whatever way we can with the environment.
Oh and my family, all white and Christian. Not that skin should matter.

Obama said he wants to use Medicare's purchasing power to get price reductions on drugs.
See how this was derailed by the GOP on the CBSNews/60 Minutes website. Search: Under the Influence.
1.)GOP had 1000+ lobbyists to kill the bill.
2.)Waited for C-Span to go off air.
3.)Kept a 15-minute vote open for hours.
4.)Harassed their own; left one in tears.
5.)Accepted lucrative lobby positions in the drug industry.
6.)Smirked that, if you don't like it -don't watch.
It's all there. It's YOUR GOP.

Elizabeth Edwards pointed out that she and McCain wouldn't be able to get insurance under his plan.

Wouldn't it be nice if McCain focused on the issues and looked out for the middle class instead of smearing his opponent?

Sadly it seems, it's all he can do.
He doesn't have much to go on.
