I honestly never understood the ending to Air. Would anyone mind explaining it? I mean I understand why Misuzu dies and all, but I don't understand the end where you see Misuzu and Yukito and the two little kids. That whole scene just made me confused, yet happy to see Misuzu alive at that point. People have tried to explain it, but they've pretty much just restated what goes on in the ending rather than explaining what it means.
This is only my opinion... (splitting in 2 due to size reason)
The scene of the 2 children should be taken together with the speech (of Yukito's mother) just before.I think they are "the children to which only good thoughts are left". Misuzu, dying lost her human shape and returns to heaven because that's the place she really belongs. This passage is painful and sad (cruel, the child said) but lead her to completeness and true joy. For the 2 children instead this moment is a beginning ...
[pt. 2] ...because it is the precise moment in time when they'll become aware that their life can be filled with sense if they *together* will start their search for "what is beyond the shore" keeping in their heart the memories of the past that other people have left them as a precious heritage.
its about a girl who is the reincarnation of an angel from a really sad fairytale. due to this she is having dreams of flying which in turn is causing her imense pain. her aunt (who takes the role of her mum since she passed away) doesnt have much to do with her. so she is lonely and the docs cant find the problam. then a boy whos mum was searching for the angel appears and thinks the girl is the angel. the story is bout how the try to save the girl cause the dreams will cause her to die.
read? the animes much better (and understandable) Srsly you dont have too, but just cheack out the first couple of episodes, its really good, despite it being sad, itll give you a fresher look on life, thast was the basic story line, it goes at lot deeper, and it does make you smile cause of the end. hounestly cheak it out (only £15 and i will be able to buy a Misuzu cosplay, ive already got the wig and puppet!)
this is the best anime ever. ... and its the first one that has ever made me cry. you know when she you know is you saw the show. and guess wat right when i was crying my mom came in and i cryed agian . :! i guess it would be concidered really good. and this amv really maches what the little girl felt like she wanted more and to be able to have freinds that wouldnt go away. she wants more. great now im crying agian oh well.

i think it makes the series that much more amazing if you understand the kids at the end :)
and i liked air much even if the TV show was some kind of strange in first place because i looked the movie before.Even the summerspecial was great. Maybe you should redo the vid and use the raw file so the subtitels disapear... then a good karaoke and it'd be even greater
