oo please help me! hm, i have been using baking soda for about 3-4 weeks (2-3 times/w), in the beginning my hair was fine but then it got frizzy and dry. now its pretty hard to brush through and i have more split ends now than ever. whats the deal with that, any clue? i am doing oil treatment once a week and i do rinse with applecider every time! ps. if i leave the apple cider in my hair becomes too greasy instead :(
I've been hennaing my hair for almost a year and have been using this method for about four months and the vinegar does not take the color out! If you find that the henna is fading, you could always just henna it again as it does no damage to the hair :)
@RyoNoHikari I think if it works for you to do it every day or every other day, then that's fine! I use Dr. Bronner's Castile Soap on my body. How much BS are you using? You may need to use less. When you rinse the BS mixture out of your hair, I suggest using almost hot water to get all of the oils off of your scalp. This may help with the acne. I've heard that puting tea trea oil in the BS solution can also help. You might want to check out the No Poo live journal for more helpful information!
just water but I'm still itchy. My skin reacted fine at first too to baking soda but I found out it was too drying so now I just use castel soap for body wash. any suggestions for me? x.o I'm kind of desperate...
e.o I've been on the no-poo concept for about 3 months and I notice even though I find the need to wash my hair every day once is that I got to a point where i think I washed my hair too frequently even if once a day or every other day with the baking soda. Also I have acne on my scalp so my scalp gets really itchy and I tend to scratch a lot. Also now my hair gets sticky when I use baking soda maybe I should try regular vinegar than ACV instead? And recently I've just been washing my hair with
