  • Did they make a DVD of this? It should be. :(

  • i can not tell, is her dress black or very dark brown?

  • I saw this 2 times this week, including Michael's last performance. I thought he was wonderful. I loved how he pulled a Frank Spencer at one point, which the audience just loved.

  • Whenever I think of Michael I think 'put on your Sunday clothes...'

  • D: misses loads from the song D:

  • Imothomas, how wonderful that you were there - that must have been truly special. I didn't know Tim Rice was there - that just tops it all off. The video of the celebration is priceless - Michael is so emotional. I'll be there for his final performance - just sayiing that makes me sad.

  • Sang happy birthday to him yesterday for his 70th birthday when i went to see the wizard of oz at the london palladium. Was amazing. Andrew Lloyd Webber gave a speech at the end of the show and Tim Rice was there. Michael Crawford even cried! Gary Barlow and other famous people were also in the audience. A night to remember :D

  • HUMPBACK WHALE

  • Michael hasn't been back at the Palladium, since he did Barnum. I'm so happy he's back on the stage. I just hope I can see him before he leaves sometime soon. This would probably be the only show i'll catch him in. <3 Michael so much! He's introduced me to Musical Theatre when I was four, when I first heard him in the Phantom!

  • ALW had been asking Michael to do things for the last several years, and he finally got him to do the Wizard. Weber knows that Michael is the best thing that can happen for his works. He was delighted he acquiesced to do the title role in The Wizard of Oz.

  • He is and has always been elegant in a way, especially in Hello, Dolly!

  • My theory? Andrew Lloyd Webber wanted to do this so that he could use Michael Crawford again... so glad he did, because I LOVE HIM! He's so AMAZING. <3

  • At 0:35 ... I love all his hand motions! :)

  • Oh my word, I got emotional just watching him perform. So nice to see Mr. Crawford back and in such wonderful form. Thank you, Andrew Lloyd Webber!

  • I can remember sitting in the theatre ,Just awe struck at seeing the Phantom him self ,live and in the flesh

  • I would be smiling so much If I was able to see him in this :3 He was just put on for Another six months. <3

  • Crawford's a Legend. I'd give anything to have HALF his talent.

  • He was the Phantom, he was the rollerskating Frank Spencer, and now he is the Wizard of Oz. What a career for Michael Crawford.

  • How can some people say he can't sing? Well he can't sing well he can sing AMAZINGLY!!!!! :) x

  • Michael Crawford? In an Andrew Lloyd Webber show? Preposterous!

  • Nice to see the phantom Finally heard of Reconstructive surgery... Glad to See Michael Back on Stage ...

  • Saw this. Was amazing!! Where is the private collection part? His voice was so funny!! Xx

  • Michael Crawford/Phantom of the Opera :D That is all ^_^

  • He's phenomenal... So amazing.

  • i love this song :) love this musical :)

  • what ever he sings i always think of the phantom.

  • I'm playing Professor Marvel/The Wizard of Oz!!!!!!! This makes me happy:)

  • how bad is it that whenever i hear his voice i think of the Phantom? :<

  • do you think theres any chance you could get a few more of the clips from the show ??

  • Anyone has the lyrics of ALW's version? Or the script from the RSC version? It's urgent!

  • Michael was the first actor I ever listened to (Phantom of the Opera in 2003, when I was in third grade) and it's good to see him still acting and singing. <3 It's an unexplainable happiness.

  • I was just waiting for MC to slowly start singing, I am your Wizard of music! Come to me, Wizard of music!

  • As I was held up in traffic last night I missed the beginning of The Wizard of Oz. Thank you for posting this video so that I didn't miss this lovely song.

  • @Carismystic :) Traffic sucks!

  • He's still got it :)

  • Oh, and something funny I found: on the Cast Recording, the key is different. Did they change it or is this how it sounds in the actual show?

  • Oh Michael, it's so wonderful to have you back ^_^ Despite my current grudge against ALW for Love Never Dies, I would fork over anything for him to bring this to Broadway solely to see Michael =)

  • It's clever how everything on the Kansas set (and costumes) are in sepia tone colours like at the start the film.

  • He's still got IT!!!

  • Lol....I love it when Michael has the "Humpback whale" slide.....he makes a look like "How'd he get in the slides?" XD

  • @71crm lol almost like a akard turtle moment

  • @TheAllthatjazzgal A what moment?

  • @71crm a awkard the turtle like Awkard turtle is when your talking to someone and some very odd happens like if you asked someone out and theres a awkard pause btw i got the defintaiton from uban dictory

  • @TheAllthatjazzgal Sort of like this old running gag that would happen in a Warner Bros cartoon.....for instance, Once in a Bugs Bunny cartoon about Oscar night where they were talking about and showing clips of movie stars and then for some strange reason they cut to some footage of a howling wolf.....and then the narrator goes...."Don't know how he got in there!"-is that what an "awkward turtle moment" is?

  • @71crm thats right :)

  • Michael Crawford does a good american accent too!

  • It would be really funny if when they discover Michael Crawford behind the curtain, he goes, "Pay no attention to the disfigured genius behind the yellow curtain!"

  • He's such a legend! This is great!

  • I saw this musical few times during my trip to London. Because I couldn't miss a great opportunity to see brilliant Michael Crawford performing on a stage again. He is a truly legend! And Danielle Hope is very talented girl, like her voice and acting as well.

  • yay 10 days to i see this live cant wait love the westend love alw <3

  • It's strange to see these characters singing a new song. This is good though, because this part of the film/show was always so boring.

  • @Wizard488 I Agree with you on that one...

  • @Wizard488 it might be boring to a 4 year old, but now that I'm older, I honestly think it's the best part of the movie

  • @Wizard488 The original was never boring!!! Just showed it in an emotional way...

  • Michael looks SO happy to be back!!! <3

  • @proud2beamichaelfan It's the Phantom without the mask and in full face!!
