@maldicientin The first few characters weren't all that flashy. But, as the comic and cartoon went on, they added a lot of others that were more and more outrageous. They even had one dressed like a drunk civilian! It's a shame too. With all the REAL hardware they could have based Joes equipment on, they ended up going for the garish there too. When they started using neon colors, I lost interest.

Man takes me back to my childhood! Same here - I sang the whole song too - I haven't seen intro since it was canceled! That was a huge part of MY childhood too. I had almost every single action figure and toy. I had the same feeling with watching transformers for the first time in almost 20 years too . Remember how transformers followed GIJoe when it aired? That was the best hour of my life each week when I Was a kid!

Sunbow foolishly tried to pair Scarlett with Duke in the cartoons while she was already with Snake Eyes in the comics, figuring that Snake Eyes' muteness would make things difficult for the animators. Larry Hama refused to change the Snake Eyes/Scarlett storyline when Duke was finally introduced in the comics, so the cartoons had no backstory to draw upon. So they dropped Scarlett and went with Flint/Lady Jaye.

I love Cobra Commander. He was my dude. I just loved him so much, I liked his voice which just happened to be Starscream from Transformers and I loved him too.....
