NV B.72 - Rail-first shots with English, from VEPS II

Hi Dr Dave, Just would like to ask, for the follow inside english shot on the rail, How to make sure that after contacting the object ball, the cue wont scratch?

You need to make sure you hit ball first. You also need to practice the shot a bunch to get a feel for it.
