In other words, a new gamecube costs more today than it did when it first came out because it is now considered a collector's item. $20 for code veronica is a fair price..CV on ps2 is worthless. It only takes a minute to go check these games on amazon, and find the price that corresponds to the condition, it's not rocket science.

@megarock327 I never said all these games are new. I said they're either new, OR in like new condition. I use the term "like new" because it's one of the 5 options on amazon/ebay under which you can list your game. It means, that the item is in the same condition a new copy would be in, only it is not factory sealed and may have been used very lightly. Still there is a HUGE price difference b/n new and like new, so it's very important to distinguish between the two. Good luck at the flea markets

There are only 2 NTSC platinum cubes on EBAY for just under 300$ plus shipping, and black one being the best for you maybe. I own 3 new platinum and 1 indigo being my personal best. I wouldn't sell my cubes for a 1000$ each at least. If I was you I would hang on to your cubes being the best game system ever made in my opinion and if that's not enough try playing through the WII in high definition.

@73kingofkings73 I am the exact same as you with 50 games and about 10 rarer ones. Gamecube really doesnt have that many rare games. Nintendo games seem to keep their value really well but the Gamecube is the first Nintendo disc based console and disc based games have not held their value well. Only time will tell if the Gamecube is different.

@B1ushMoe Actually, I have a collection for every nintendo system...especially n64. I've been meaning to make more collection vids, but I'll be sure to make n64 my next one. In addition to the original box and instructions, n64 games also have a cardboard insert that acts as support for the box, so that is also an important factor when it comes to the nintendo games that came in cardboard boxes. A few games you'll want are Conker, ogre battle 64, clayfighter final cut, harvest moon, worms...

@up13111 You can find these games online...Amazon and ebay. If there is a local trade-in video game shop in your area, you may be able to find some of them there.
@Vegeta858 It's not exactly "rare", but it's a good one to have. There is another one for the Gamecube called Baten Kaitos Origins, and it is a little harder to find. If you're ever curious about how rare a game is, just look it up on Amazon. The Baten Kaitos games are in the $7-15 dollar range. But as I said in the video, it's all about condition. If you have the manual and case and they are in "like new" condition, then it can be collectible
The Wii version of Twilight Princess is rarer than the Cube version. When Nintendo said the GC version would be a limited release, fanboys & collectors pre-ordered that shit like crazy. GC game out sold the Wii game two to one!

@mariofreak955 Yes, the silver and platinum are the same thing. As far as I know Indigo, jet back and platinum were the only colors release in the US. I read that there was a "spice orange" color released in Japan, as well as some other random colors.

@EpicGlue Once you get out of high school, nerdy eccentricities become mostly irrelevant (sometimes they're actually a plus). Posting gamecube videos doesn't really hinder someone from having a good time.

Do you only have a gamecube collection. I'm starting a nintendo 64 collection. I gathered they would be worth more then gamecube because original boxing is harder to find

@B1ushMoe Actually, I have a collection for every nintendo system...especially n64. I've been meaning to make more collection vids, but I'll be sure to make n64 my next one. In addition to the original box and instructions, n64 games also have a cardboard insert that acts as support for the box, so that is also an important factor when it comes to the nintendo games that came in cardboard boxes. A few games you'll want are Conker, ogre battle 64, clayfighter final cut, harvest moon, worms...

@Vegeta858 It's not exactly "rare", but it's a good one to have. There is another one for the Gamecube called Baten Kaitos Origins, and it is a little harder to find. If you're ever curious about how rare a game is, just look it up on Amazon. The Baten Kaitos games are in the $7-15 dollar range. But as I said in the video, it's all about condition. If you have the manual and case and they are in "like new" condition, then it can be collectible

The Wii version of Twilight Princess is rarer than the Cube version. When Nintendo said the GC version would be a limited release, fanboys & collectors pre-ordered that shit like crazy. GC game out sold the Wii game two to one!

@therealbluedragon I didn't know that. I wonder why the GC version is more valuable than the wii. I just checked the prices for both on Amazon
-for GC used = 27.29, for wii used = 21.39
-for GC NEW= 49.99, for wii NEW = 33.00
So TP for gamecube is just flat-out more expensive across the board.

@drewsky684 another fun fact. you probably already knew this, but everything in the wii version is flipped. its like looking in a mirror. everything that was on the right is now on the left etc. pretty cool huh?

@alisammour10 Yeah, I had to find that out the hard way. My first play through was on the wii. Just recently I decided to play it again but this time on GC...I threw me off big time. I would go the wrong way like every 5 minutes

@mariofreak955 Yes, the silver and platinum are the same thing. As far as I know Indigo, jet back and platinum were the only colors release in the US. I read that there was a "spice orange" color released in Japan, as well as some other random colors.
