Trinidad won rounds 1,2,4 he won round 7 becouse DLH didnt want to fight and then in rounds 10,11 and 12 you know what happened,DLH started running laps around the ring and was being out punched.I had it 113 to 115 Trinidad,if someone else had it a tie,totaly understandable,it was close.DLH lost some rounds in the begining just by not boxing and Tito by being the more active agresor they had to give him those rounds.When you see a round askyourself who is imposing his will in this round? youlsee

I gave De La Hoya 8 out of the first 9. It's not just about will, it's about clean punching. Who is landed the most effective punches.
De La Hoya was robbed IMO. But it didn't really bother anyone because he decided to run.

You cant give DLH rounds if he doesnt throw puches or engage with Tito, if you wach the rounds that i pointed out you will notice this.You win in the sport of boxing by imposing your will on the other person,making him fight your fight,by assuming control of the fight and setting the pace,landing the most significant punches thus dominating the round,thats how you score a round,you cant win rounds without punching

Some boxing history:
before the 90s it was very rare for a Mexican champion to fight a Puerto rican champion. Many reasons existed but mostly due to distance.
Now most Puerto Ricans fight in IBF and most Mexicans fight in WBC.
So it still requires a rare belt unification.
Margarito is a WBO champion and Cotto was a WBA champion.

Size of the country has nothing to do with it. There are only a limited number of belts and limited number of weight classes. And even then...the "puerto rican" fighters you are talking about are not all from puerto rico. Many of them are born in New York. But there have been over 120 Mexican born champions and it is very very rare that they loose to a pero-rican.

puerto rico has champions...then they loose the championship to Mexicans. The only title fight lost by a "Mexican" was trinidads questionable decision over Dela Hoya. And Dela Hoya is not a true Mexican.

wilfredo gomez beat Zarate after pero-rican assholes spent all day interupting his training and making noise outside his hotel and not letting him sleep. If that fight had happened in neutral place it would have been a different ending.
Ohh and Salvador Sanchez Mexican pounded the crap out of wilfredo gomez and broke his jaw.
If the ref had not stopped the fight...Sanchez would have killed gomez.
cotto lasted 11 rounds but ended up on the FLOOR crying like a bitch. Your proud of that???
