We are taught through scary stories and movies that "ghosts" are evil apparitions to be feared. Science and logic dictate that they do not exist. The church tells us that it is a sin to communicate with the dead.
But many of us accept that the spirits of those who have passed sometimes remain here with us in this realm.
I was 6 when I had my first experience. I didn't see anything, but I felt the presence. I think I was more confussed than scared. And probably more scared...
I think it's natural to see the spirits of those whose time has come but for one reason or another they just ain't left yet. It's just that it don't fit into what most folks have been taught so they don't or won't understand it!!!
That's why when it occurs to people they don't understand it and since other people don't don't talk about it, they don't have an explanation for it or then they don't talk about it because they don't want to be figured for "kooky." I agree...it's natural.
speaking of unicorns... I bet you didn't know that before you gave this interesting fact.. I was given a baby unicorn a few days before.. but it was in "second life".. :) I made a supliment random things video because someone tagged me after the video I made came out and she worked so hard on it.. I couldn't leave her with a blank space.
my generation has a bad habit of calling anything gay or something. a man liking unicorns isn't gay at all. people called me butch because of how much i like football
When I was young there were not too many girls/women who were into sports (or would admit to it), but today football, etc is just as much a womens sport as it is a mans.

I didn't think that there was a relationship to the soft spot to seeing dead people..ah.. some people are able to see them.. to me the dead people are just these shadows..I see them but they often have no form other than shadow.
ah those were better five facts than ever I could do or say.. but I too have an "unhealthy" fear of spiders, especially black widows.. naturally unicorns are a great symbol..you can just attach your video as a video response!! And your other "victims" can post theirs to your video.

... of talking to anyone about it than of the experience itself. In time I just came to accept it and was no longer afraid to talk about it.
They are among us at any time and any place. It seems that some are unaware of our presence and others interact with us.
But I've never met a ghost that I felt I needed to be afraid of.

Snakes freak me out far worse than black widows do. I see dead people also.

Never knew a liking for unicorns was considered a "gay" thing?? They had a unicorn in one of the Harry Potter films - and thats for kids!!

Lately it's just been shadows but sometimes I can give detailed descriptions. I think it depends on how far in/out of my peripheral limits.
