Secondly the majority of claimants are in their mid 40's and up and their bodies/skeletal structure are naturally degenerating and work just happens to cause a minor aggravation which IS covered, your pre-existing degenerative conditions are NOT. That's why only some things are covered and some aren't! Check your scans/medical certificates, i bet they say either "degenerative" "progressive" "disc bulge" "aggravation" "exacerbation" "pre-existing" "calcification" these all mean NOT WORK RELATED!

omg people need to get real, YOU had an accident due to YOUR own fault and it just so happened you were at work when the incident occurred, unless your workplace was actually negligent (i.e. supplied faulty equipment, had a problem with the site etc.) you should blame yourselves!

Right.. Lets talk WCB fraud...fake 'investigations' to reject a claim for years....denying substantial medical evidence.. WCB is a psychopathic corporation who are focused on protecting their bottom line and paying compensation to seriously disabled workers does not fit that agenda. Why are they above the law? This film showing workers as the frauds is a total joke and WE know it WCB.

If only it were so! Lots about when workers are fraudulent, but when it goes the other way, and it often does, its swept under the carpet, and made all hush, hush.

God forbid someone has a serious injury! I have had numerous Mri's, exray's, physical therapy, I currently have 2 ortho surgeons that say I need 2 total knee replacements due to my work related injuries. I have waited 3 yrs! an they still refuse to pay to get them fixed, and I had witnesses to my injuries! They did pay for 2 meniscus surgeries but Workers comp would rather pay me timeloss forever then pay for total knees. I can hardly walk! The system is screwed up!

@MultiHurts I feel for you I have a claim and its going on four years. I had a landscap accident and smashed my fingers my whole hand goes numb and I am in constant pain. Every hearing I have been to is denied and i can not go back to that kind of work I cant get retrained the program they sent me to was a complete joke. This system i a joke and needs and overhaul.
