does it have to be mac PRO? or can the itiem just say set powder?? because on macs website it just says set powder not mac PRO set powder.. and i want to know if its the same item??
I am confused how many setting powders does mac have? Their is this one mac prep and prime transparent .. and another one right? SO which one is the best? PLZ help thx
@greendiamond12 I heard both are practically the same. But the setting powder... you get more for your buck as it has more product per dollar or whatever rate. The setting powder is a pro member item so you will have to call their 1-800 number or go to a mac pro store or have a Pro card to order online.
Great video thank you for the information :) but i have a question... Is there any other reason you'd get the setting powder besides before using blush? I don't use blush so maybe there's no reason for me to purchase this? Thank you !! :)
i use this tooo! its great instead of using a colored powder over liquid foundation because you dont end up looking cakey like youre hiding bad skin! i top off with a spritz of fix+ and im good to go, thanks for promoting this product more people need to kno about it!
Hey Laura. I'd just like to say I really like your videos. I so appreciate the products you promote. I just want to know when you're going to do tutorials and reviews on you. We want to see your gorgeous face, girl!
just want to ask, do you use just foundation and setting powder before applying blush? cause i wonder if you use any concealer or any other powder beside these...
Please make a comparison review between the MAC Setting Powder (Invisible) and the MUFE HD powder so that we can decide which one to buy. They both look the same, but are they really??!
I thought it was available at MAC counters. When I asked, they didnt know what I was talking about, even at the MAC store! Is it available online only?
I had no idea that MAC had a setting powder! This looks similar to the MUFE HD powder that I have, but it has a tendency to make my face look white, especially in the dry areas, hehe.
I'm really hoping you will soon make a organization video. I know you did a video awhile ago, but I also know you done quite a bit of hauls since then. I myself are needing advise, my makeup is getting out of hand & can't seem to know where to put it.
Hi Laura!! I am a new subscriber!! :) you have an amazing makeup collection!! wow watching your videos was like makeup porn LOL and I really think you are adorable!! keep it up girl!! cheers!!
Is it actually invisible? I am a woman of color, and often times "invisible" things don't actually blend into my skin. I.E. BareMinerals Mineral Veil (un-tinted) reflects extremely white on my skin, so is this like that or does it actually absorb into the skin? Thanks!
This is a very sheer powder. I use a small amount and it blends well with the foundation. I was afraid of having a "mask" look as well but this powder is great.
It's quite expensive. How does it compare with other powders you've used? Is there a cheaper alternative? (I love your videos btw.... you have amazing hauls!)
I have this powder (bought it for $2 at my job's beauty sale) but am not sure what the point is. I use mineral foundation. Is it equivalent to mineral veil?
i live 2 blocks from the pro store and i've been hearing so many great things about this product so i tried it on the other day and LOVED IT. i'm going to be picking it up today :]
could you please tell me how much product is in this? it doesnt say on the website. thank you!! :)

What's better, the invisible setting powder or just a regular pressed powder?
coolmom88 2 years ago

It helps if you have oily skin because it sets your liquid foundation so it does not move around. at least that is what others have said.

Ok thank you!!! i will definitely have to try this then!! :)

I use this over my liquid foundation in order to prevent streaking when applying a powder blush.
SephoraJunkie 3 years ago
so if you use a powder blush on top of foundation it will streak and thats why you have to set it with powder first before putting powder blush on?

yup! ^_^

I think it you can only get this at the MAC Pro Store. Otherwise if you don't have one in your area you can order it by phone.

Thanks for giving me another reason to run down to the MAC counter!

If you have the powder that is just like this by Make Up Forever, could you compare it?
Cause theres only a $6 difference. The MAC is bigger, yet less money...interesting....

Pretty much like mineral veil. It also helps reduce streaking when using liquid foundation and a powder blush.
