@rob808zuk are u just over the fact of having do deal with electrical or is it that you were gonna do your own harness instead of sending it in? just curious because im not decided whether or not i wanna just do a 1.6 8v or just go straight for the 16 valve.

didn't want to do all the complicated wire harnessing. so went with the screamin eagle carb and so far it works fine.

1.6 soon to be installed, FI to much wiring. screamin eagle carb so far no problems.

Why not just go fuel injected?(1.6L 16v) That way you get both, responsiveness and no stalling.

yep, weber was stalling on the inclines. screamin eagle carb not as responsive as the weber, but runs even at the steepest angles.
