Nice ranking! It's quite hard though to choose fairly I think, unless of course one has heard the entire song of all the versions. Especially since some parts are just Jasmine singing, and others just Aladdin. I guess my order would go something like this: 1. Swedish 2. English 3. I like Ali very much(even when he sounds better in One jump ahead and the reprise of that song).Jasmine is ok,but nothing special and I understand it when people say they don't like her voice.

All in all it's the only German version where I say that it doesn't belong to the best versions.All other German versions of animated songs are simply great and this could have been,too, if they used Jana Werner or Alexandra Wilcke as Jasmine.Then it would have been perfect so it's "only" good

I completely agree with you. German Jasmine's voice isn't all that good. They should definitely have used Jana Werner. But in a way I think it's good it's not her, because she's practically in every animated movie. Too bad they didn't choose to have her in a magical song like this one.

I know that many people think the same way you do about Jana and I did it.But now I think that she didn't do too much and she could have dubbed Jasmine as she had only dubbed two other girls at that moment

I've looked her up a bit better now, and realize that the only speaking voice she's done was for Belle (meaning she's only sung to the other characters). Then it's more okay. Because at first I was thinking that all the characters should have pretty much the same voice, but when I realize she only sang to the others, then it's more okay. So I agree, she definitely could've (and should've) been Jasmine too!

I think it's sad that she only did the speaking voice for Belle.Have you heard her talking?Her speaking voice is as lovely as her singing voice even when I like Maud Ackermann(Jasmine and Odette speaking voice),Anja Kling(Anastasia) and Dorette Hugo(Ariel + Thumbelina) as well;)

PS: Which are the two girls she dubbed before Jasmine? I know Belle is one of them, but who is the other one? She's done Thumbelina, the third Cinderella movie, the Swan Princess, Anastasia, and Christine (from the Phantom of the opera), but all of those movies were released after Aladdin. Is there anyone I have missed? (Except for Belle, of course :P).

Why? Maybe Polish Aladdin isn't the best, but Jasmine is amazing. I can't say herbrew sound terrible, just not my fave :)

I love Swedish (both Jasmine and Aladdin), Polish Jasmine, Cantonese is also pretty (even if I like more Mandarin version), Russian Aladdin, Croatian (Both singers have pretty voices), English

I'm neutral with French and I don't like Portuguese (something in Jasmine's voice irritate me, but I like a bit Aladdin)
