  • @XXLElephant Depends on how it is used within a program, but normally say, 3 X's through yes

  • That is insane! Never mind how hard it works the core, the coordination involved is impressive.

  • Great video as usual. That Core Blast looks really difficult. What would you recommend for someone who has not really done any significant direct training for their abs/core in order for them to progress up to being able to do the Core Blast?

  • @WangXiaojun1974 Well first learn the movements and do them at a slower pace, Then maybe try a couple of them together. You have to progress into these things if you have not done them before or know how they feel

    So try it, but take your time working up to full expression

  • Had these in my last program, so I'm familiar with them. In my new program, I'd like to do them for abs/core on leg day, 3x through, and maybe start to play around with some of the lockout variations as shown by Brad. I'm pretty sure I can work up to these variations over time; LOVE those overhead lockouts. Sound good? :D :D Feelin' mighty keen... we'll see how keen I feel after actually walkin' the talk today!!

  • Can't believe I just found this now. Hmmmm. that looks awfully familiar, Coach! And, yeah, I "man up" and do these, every Friday (after two other killer groups of exercises designed to FRY my shoulders). I feel like I'm being bitten in my obliques by some little creature with sharp, sharp teeth. Boo-yeah!! Fridays are a gooder! :D

  • Okay - I've never been pummelled by baseball bats, but I'm pretty sure that I have a good idea of what it would feel like after completing this circuit!

    No joke when Coaches Abel and Weiss say it is total body - My glutes and add/ab-ductors where begging for mercy -and basically everything else too!

    Thanks Coaches! - It is a favorite for abs core circuit now (along with ACWKs - abel croc walk killers)

    For total programming you should check out the various DVD projects. The WBH, does in fact, feature Kevin in the program as well
