  • the death penalty is state sponsored terrorism and murder

  • if i had a child on death row i would still support the death penalty. if someone is capable of brutal crime then they are like a rabid dog and should be put down. if they are vicious and do not deserve the title of human being which is defined by our social norms and morality then they should not be given rights. they take a life and can no long be trusted . a tax payer has the right to say i will not pay for house, food, clothes, medical, and tv for a murderer. it is our choice.

  • I have such mixed feelings about the death penalty.

I sometimes think that they should only execute child killers.

Like if you're over 18 and you kill someone under 18.

  • Son of a bitch murdererssss

  • The death penalty is wrong. We need a more badass death penalty like being thrown in a cage with wolves or buried alive. Maybe then people wouldn't do the crime.

  • Does killing a murder, not make us one? What death is good? What murder is holy? What killing is righteous? We can evolve. We can grow. This is not growth. This is not civilization. This is not Humanity. This is barbarism. This is sin. This is evil. America must destroy the death penalty. This is wrong. This is sin.

  • Your letting evil take the easy way out by killing them. You should just leave them in prison there whole life, you get raped, beat up,humiliated etc. evil should be made sure it suffers and once its gone you will never know it suffed cause nobody knows what happens after death.

  • @TBAKC you are on target sir! i agree with you 100 percent..

  • @TBAKC well when they have to walk into the chamber to receive the death penalty u can imagine the fear and suffering they encounter. also good chance they will have further judgement when we as a society are done judging them according to law. the problem i have is at what point might one of these be let out of prison and take the life of someone i love. if they are executed they can no longer hurt others . it removes the threat and worry.

  • did that criminal give his victim a second chance? think about that.

  • @iphone3gs2208 Amerika commits first degree murder, that must mean that you could kill them if you want...

  • @nr2realgyal Germany killed 6 million, soviet union killed 20 million of its own citizens, france killed their own during the french revolution, all of these countries wage war or have waged war in some point of their history. My point is, the US isn't always the bad guy so therefore i think that your comment is baseless and does not phase my point of view on this argument. oh and learn how to spell you fucking dumbass.

  • @iphone3gs2208

You don't have to explane what you mean to me, I could think myself. I knew what point you where trying to make without you saying it. You failed to mention that America killed 240 000 people by bombing Hiroshima and Nagasaki. But of course they've killed millions, people are still dying till this day thanks to those bombs. They are getting more canser then the average man n suffer from high blood pressure.

  • @iphone3gs2208

Yea cause if I would write mi name ella, instead of my name is Ella, you wouldnt understan, n yet I'm the stupid one?!

  • @iphone3gs2208 America killed around 500 000 natives. The high end would be around a million. At least 919,967 people have been killed in Afghanistan and Iraq since the U.S. and coalition attacks, based on lowest credible estimates. U've killed 288 000 muslims atleased. That's 30 muslim for 1 american. Based on the lowes possible numbers. I've read another american saying that US killed 395000 in Japan...

  • @iphone3gs2208

    1950-53 - Korean War

    Death toll: about 1,776,000

1960-75+ - Vietnam War including Cambodia and Laos

Death toll: about 4,502,000 including civilians and resulting famines (conservative estimates)

1965 - CIA assists Indonesian coup

    Death toll: about 900,000

1966-96 - Green berets in Guatemala against rebels, US backs pro-American forces in country until 1996Death toll: about 200,000

    ETC Millions more America killed....

  • @nr2realgyal your facts mean nothing, FIrst of all, i never killed 288,000 muslims. I have two brothers who in the armed forces and i no they do not just shoot anyone they see. there is such thing as "rules of engagement" but you didn't know that cause google didn't tell you. Secondly the atomic bomb on Nagasaki and Hiroshima was deserved. Japan probably should have thought about that before they blatantly attacked us in 1941. Same goes for Muslim extremists, should have thought about that

  • @iphone3gs2208 iphone. u are so right on. ty for supporting our military and ty for your brothers that defend my country. tell them thnx. nobody likes war and death. but there are consequences to attacking our country as you said. japan thought they would walk in and take america. they had a surprise coming. i hate that the bomb was used but war is war and they were not sorry for coming and killing american people on our shore line in 1941. or 911.

  • @nr2realgyal You are probably don't live in the United States so you are either a really bad american or a jealous european who has nothing better to do than look up incriminating facts about the US and jack off to gay porn. Here is where i leave you because i cannot change your mind and you will not change mine. When speaking of criminal first degree murder offenses where the killing is premeditated and done with malice.... FUCKING KILL THAT PIECE OF SHIT.

  • @iphone3gs2208 ty iphone. i agree with you. a rabid dog will bite and kill again. the title of human is given to us when we live according to societal rules and morality and do not harm others. when a person enjoys harming others they must be put down. they serve no further good to mankind and are not to be trusted. they deserve to give their life if they take a life. also, i don't care to feed, house, cloth & give medical to these murderers that would gladly kill a child of mine one day.

  • Execute the condemned Honer the Victim(s)

  • @sngcoach well im sry that me trying to understand is "strange."

that's your opinion, now i know.

  • @sngcoach ok i can see you think that. but what is your idea of responsibility? but if you're point is punishment is wrong, then making them stay in prison for years/life hurts them. my thing is, i see that death may not be a great punishment bc then you're just dead, but staying in jail would be a punishment, but would cost innocent ppl $ to keep them in a jail, but then again is punishment wrong?

  • the death penalty is a form of revenge not justice....

  • I am the surviving family member of a murder victim. I do not believe in the death penalty.

  • im trying to understand y ppl r against death penalty? is it bc u dont think they should take responsibility?do u think that its wrong even if they caused so much pain?do u think living life prison is better than death?&if so isnt that bad thing since they arent taking full responsibility pain they caused to families?&if prison is worse than death, isnt that against ur idea of being lenient to them?im trying to just get an idea of y ppl r anti capital punishment.not trying to fight!!

  • if youre too pussy to handle you should be too pussy to believe in it

  • There are many ways to look at the death penalty. I personally belive that you deserve a second chance but the fact remains we can't trust a killer to change. It is like a drug dealer they say oh I'll quite as soon as I'm out. They get out and a month later are back in.

  • jeffrey dahmer was lucky he dident get an execution

  • So this gentleman is haunted by the criminals he executed. He regrets to have sent to death guys who don't deserve to live. He has no balls

  • @Vindsxtono I'm sure murderers think the same thing.

  • The worst punishment is sitting in a prison cell for the rest of your life without any outside contact...the death penalty is more or less to give the families of the victims peace of mind or some kind of justice...

  • @MrDistortedReality an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.

  • Every human being has the right to life, no matter if they have murdered or not. Life in prison is preferable to death for the very reason that, the said individual could be innocent. How many have we sent to death unjustly? Is it worth it?

  • kill all rapists, child molestors, murderers...

what good is 20 years in prison for these pieces of shit? (40 000$/ year per inmate)

  • @flip92 Actually execution is MORE expensive.

(and by the way, Hitler, Stalin, Mao, etc. all loved execution as well -- are you still a fan?)

  • so much for the land of the free !!!

resorting to 3rd world style punishments

  • I am very much opposed to capital punishment. I don't know how justice is served with another family burying there loved one helps. Also, does it bring closure to the victims family? In my heart no.

  • Im not even reading any of the other comments. - I already know too many will be full of ignorance and hate; an old, old story. I respect the hell out of this man for TELLING. (No doubt, he has taken MUCH crap for it.)... Even if you support the death penalty, you're just WRONG and repulsive if you can't feel compassion for him after watching this.

  • I dont have any sympathy for murderers. Im sorry but they lost their rights as humans once they took a life.

  • @Trevorfenix Ergo, the various states that execute the convicted lose their right to continue to live. Sure, I'm being facetious but I'm making a point. Something to do with double standards, sort o' thing.

  • @Trevorfenix

You dont require sympathy to accept anyone as human. And when you accept another human as less than you or human, you destroy what you are.

I dont share this too hurt you!

  • Just to put some perspective on the professionalism of Mr. McAndrew, as the Warden, assigned with overseeing the execution of an inmate, he is required to be familiar with all aspects of the execution process, this would include the amount of water on the sponge. McAndrew stated that in his opinion too much water was squeezed out of the sponge. As the Warden, he should have stopped the process and corrected the issue. Perhaps his change of heart was due to his guilt for not doing his job.

  • @conkeeper How about the fact he helped kill people? That would do it too.

  • More and more people who carry out these executions are coming out against them now. i saw a show about three of them in Texas. Also, two of the most famous wardens, Duffy Lewis, of San Quntion, and the late warden from Sing Sing, who executed numerous people, came out against the death penalty later on.

  • people have no right to say that if you kill me i kill you it's wrong there is only one judge.

  • in my ideal society there would be no prisons...only gallows

  • Most executioners after their retirement live to regret what they did, it's just a shame they did not have the wisdom to come to that conclusion before they murdered so many people!

  • @jagara1

They didn't murder anyone, they killed people lawfully- murder is the unlawful killing of a person. I'm not splitting hairs, you have to admit murder is a very emotive word and it shouldn't be used to describe execution- it describes homicide under specific circumstances.

  • The one I felt for was the poor bastard who was due to die from "Lethal Injection"

only this man had no decent Veins in his Body. They fucked about for over two hours until at last they thought they had found one (they hadn't).The Liquid was pumped into this poor bastards Muscle,so there he was thrashing around as the liquid ate into his muscle tissue and then found a way into his Brain. This method was not enough to kill him.He was ordered to go through it all over again. This can not be right.

  • I tend to be a supporter of capital punishment, but I can't help but respect what the warden said. It can't be easy to do that job, regardless of the crime of the condemned.

  • @Dennycrane757 This video made me change my mind about capital punishment. It`s dead wrong!

  • It brings out an interesting point. . . there have been alot of death row inmates exhonerated due to the inclusion of dna evidence (murders committed prior to the 1990's). More than 25% of these DR inmates have been released. The death penalty is nothing more than legal murder. Do two wrongs make a situation right?

  • @freemason1776 that has been my stance for years. Well said.

  • So how many people did he have to kill before he realised the death penalty is wrong?

  • Let them rot in prison instead. Make the prisons less of a damn paradise, and it would be a viable solution.

  • We Both Share The Same Opinion Against Executions Against The Death Penalty

  • ...and that is exactly why you don't. You are no different than the murderous freaks who sit on Death Row.

  • he is different from murderous freaks.

  • fuck off government scum its lethal injections gunna end forever

  • @NattyB5693 get off here its for anti death penalty supports not you or supports of murder

  • @NattyB5693 not all of them are, there have been mistakes. but crazu right wing nuts like u are so close minded and base things on stereotypes ud never listen

  • That makes you no better than them....

  • @fuhmeregan - Do the victims of murders have a rights or sympathy? of course, but people who have been condemned to die on behalf of the state have victims too..his/her family, as a 12 year old girl from Texas once said "There killing my daddy because he killed a person, so who do we get to kill?" do you understand? the murders family is just as innocent as the victims family, let me ask..if you had a son or daughter on death row would you still support the capital punishment? i think not.

  • @ozzyboi86

That 12 year old girl probably didn't realise it but her daddy had committed capital murder, and in Texas its a pretty narrowly defined crime (none of the wide reaching subjective criteria, e.g. particularly heinous murder, like elsewhere) and when he did that in accordance with Texan law he forfeited his right to live. If he had not done whatever he did he would not have been executed- she should have asked herself how much he cared about her.

  • @ozzyboi86 The family of the condemned are victims, but not victims of the state. They are victims of the condemned. It is not justice to spare a man's life after he kills another man just because he has a family. If his family has to suffer because they lose their father/brother/son, that is the murderer's fault, not the executioner's.

  • @StupidIdiot12345 What's the difference between an executioner and a murderer?

  • @ozzyboi86 you have a very good argument and i agree with you but the pro-death penalty people probably blame the murderers for their own families doing this and do not see it as themselves making the family suffer

  • People who kill are people too! Big surprise!. It's not that they are NOT HUMAN it is that they have chosen to end the lives of other people, coldly, not in self defense, but in anger, or just a sadistic urge to mutilate. These kind of people we need to get rid of. I favor death penalty for repeated rapists/murders.

I do not support keeping people in a box for their entire lives, I don't want to pay to keep killers alive. If they want them to live, make them work.

  • Comment removed

  • geeez they got rid of OL' sparky?? when did that happen?

  • The electric chair causes almost instant unconsciousness.

  • Bravo! Wonderfully spoken. You are a true humanitarian.

  • I can't see how DP helps the victims of crime.

  • Criminologist at highest levels & Chiefs of Police who work w criminals daily, when polled overwhelmingly did not believe DP is a deterrent, it is common knowledge. States with DP hav HIGHER rates of homicide. DP has an anti-deterrent effect, it brutalizes society. In New York homicide found to increase in month following DP.

B/c those who commit homicide dont think of punishment but do it in rage, passion are mentally ill/on drugs, host of reasons. Last thought is punishment or getting caught.

  • A lot of us wish there were parts of our lives we could go back and erase and do over BUT we have not taken the life of another person nor caused suffering to a whole family who is left behind. I'm not saying I'm perfect but I do think that the DP is something that would cause one to think before committing an act that would cause them to lose their life over it. But, then again, some of these persons haven't the mental capacity to make the right choice at the critical time.

  • How futile, these people showed remorse, then they are killed! Remorse is optional, it does not get you off the DP, yet these people chose it anyway. Prison is also a punishment, often harsher than the DP, ppl can find remorse in prison. What is the point of finding remorse or rehabilitation if you are dead.

  • of course a person wants to have a do over. Of course a person who is sentenced to death understands that they're going to be punished and they don't want to be punished. Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

  • eye for an eye. period.

  • What about the victims that suffered in their hands with the same fate. They didn't consider their feeling when they did it. If it was 100% that the person did the horrific crimes especially on children. I feel no mercy.

  • you speak the truths.

  • Wow.

  • How horrific for this man and the prisoner who suffered so. I truly feel for them. I do not believe in the death penalty. We do not have it here in Canada and I am glad.
