Now I believe only 28 states have state laws that make it a crime. I know enforcement is the key but I also know that getting a federal law passed like this would be good because it also is an acknowledgement by our congress/society that forcing animals to fight is extreme animal cruelty.

I just read in the news that people (you know who) are going to speak to congress to urge congress to pass the fighting spectator prohibition act which would make attending and participating in any organized animal fights in any form or fashion would be a felony, just like the dog fighter that runs the dog fighting ring. Are dogs more important than deer?  Because men in mask's and sniper weapons shoot those animals in the head every day and they are rewarded for their efforts. Im just interested to know your thoughts on this one.

@chrismc185 Deer are not domesticated animals. You are comparing apples to oranges. They also have a chance to get away, but not vick's dogs. Quite trying to show you are a tree hugger. You are actually adding insult to injury by your words on this video. I've raised deer before in pens, BTW, and I'm not a hunter, but if someone wants to hunt, and give the prey a sporting chance, let them do it. Notice I typed sporting chance with that last sentence please.

@akonitony2 ok so now the debate goes to which animals are more important to keep alive versus other animals. True Vick did some cruel things to those dogs and he was punished just as severe or more severly than most others who have commited the same type of crime. I am by no means a tree hugger, actually I would consider my self the opposite but I also see where folks like you decided to jump on the "Vick's the worst guy in world " bandwagon.

Anyway, I'm not on any bandwagon. Anytime one is willing to abuse trust, they are of a depraved mind in my book. Vick took the trust of as many animals as he could find to trust him, and used it for financial gain and a cheap thrill. He's definitely on my top 10 list of people I wish were no longer with us, but there are worse.

So yes, man 'created' dogs, but without God, man wouldn't be here to 'create' them. So, dogs are to me, God's creatures. I know just how great pitbulls are, i dedicate my life to spreading awareness about the success of these 47 dogs who were givin a 2nd chance which is as you know is a miracle. AWARENESS is someone ugly and it also has its great side which is what this video is about..the success of these 47 pitbulls.
