  • Loved The Adventure People.

  • I have almost every set complete...off ebay. Except the space series...didn't care for them. FP sucks for not re-issuing these!

  • Yeah, talk about quality in toys. Fisher Price made some of the BEST toys in the 70s and 80s. My sister had the Adventure People since she was older than me; she had the jeep with the two guys and boat, and the safari crew with the animals. As a child of the 80s, I missed out, but I vaguely recall playing with them before my mother gave them away when we moved. Too bad Fisher Price can't bring back good quality toys like this anymore. I'm with you; bring them back!

  • I'd like this video much better if it didn't start out with toilet talk. Otherwise I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU! I firmly believe that these toys should be made available again so that children can roleplay normal, everyday people, instead of war heroes and ugly science fiction monsters. If you would redo this video without the potty talk at the beginning I would be glad to share it on facebook. Otherwise I'm afraid it would IMMEDIATELY offend some of my friends, some of whom are pastors.

  • I loved these toys!! I have a bunch of sets still pretty intact (the recue set, TV news, construction, jeep plane and boat and the aqua rescue). My 10 yr old daugher plays with them now. thinking of getting some on ebay to start collecting them. They dont make them like this anymore (regardless of the toxic paint!).

  • I used to have the sea set with the boat and the dolphin, my sister had the camping set. Ah, back when toys were awesome!

  • I remember these toys when I was a kid, as I recognized the helicopter in the video. I don't know where the chopper is these days, but the next time I'm visiting my mom's place I'll look for it. My parents moved 3 years ago and tossed out a bunch of stuff, I may not have had the time to intervene. I know they didn't throw out Lego kits because I took them apart for moving including the instructions. The memories of the past will remain, why can't the toys

  • I live in Canada I don't think adventure people were here or my mom was too lazy to find out where they sell them. But that was okay we'd watch the commercials Saturday and go outside and sing "adventure peoplllllllllle"

  • I got that camera-crew set with afro-lady Christmas '79...i remember thinking that old guy looked like Archie Bunker

  • Heck Yeah! I'm with ya,bring 'em back!!!

  • Comment removed

  • I loved those toys

  • LOL I had all of them... even afro lady and I cut off her plastic skirt!

  • Adventure People rocked. Still got my shark from the dive boat! BRING EM BACK FISHER PRICE!!

  • I had the lumberjack, parachutist, firemen, and several others. Yes, they were GREAT toys. I liked how you could buy them in sets or individually. Really cool stuff...I even remember the commercial and hope someone posts it.

  • ... that was the video-game equivalent of Adventure People in its day... not as mainstream as Numero Uno (G.I. Joe/Atari), looked down upon by outsiders (oh, the ridicule heaped upon Intellivision's disc controllers), and gone from the memory banks of all but a few (and on a sidenote, Woody Woodpecker is going in that direction, I reckon... if I were to walk up to a thousand people and say, "If Woody had gone straight to the police, THIS..." how many people could finish the sentence?).

  • Nalts, I'm about to subscribe... I'm Old School, I mean I vaguely remember Jimmy Carter as President (or at least when he lost to Reagan), and yet almost none of my peers had Adventure People, or in later years would remember them when I brought them up... it's good to have it confirmed that I wasn't the only lad with fond memories of those magnificent action figures.

Hey, but no need to knock Mattel Intellivision ("Intelligent television," as George Plimpton would say), because...

  • if you keep pressing the time circle at 00:31 and 00:32 he says funny word

  • Bring em back!Bring em back!Bring em back!Bring em back!Bring em back!Bring em back!Bring em back!Bring em back!Bring em back!

  • I had damn near all of these!,They should bring them back!!

  • Adventure People ruled

  • You said it!

  • Yes please we need them back please!

  • Hmm I still do Ebay. Maybe I should thank all the people who stopped going on.

  • "Nobody goes to ebay anymore": So true.

  • Yay, adventure people!

  • I hate you ur videos barely get any views i wonder why because you suck.

  • says the person with three subscribers

  • Says the person with zero subscribers

  • wow took ya three days to think of that? good job try not to hurt yourself when u think of these lame comebacks

  • Look whos talking

  • oooo that really hurts i never really heard that third grade saying before

  • Your calling me immature look at your user name and these words from you description"i like video games and comics " and you read harry potter .

  • uh yeah because im 14 those are things we 14 year olds like im sorry im so normal i hope u will forgive me all knowing person who is better than me

  • Ok... nice comeback you are normal for a 14 year old wanna be geek who has no real friends so acts all cool on youtube to get friends who dont really give a crap about him BLOCKED

  • uh ok im dying inside now have a nice day

  • The sea explorer with Dave, Mary, & the dolphin ruled.

  • shutup u have like 3 videos 4 subs and not even featured once nalts owned you he has thousands of subs, he is a youtube partner, featured many times, and he also makes decent videos!

  • Fisher-Price Adventure People rocked! I had so many of these as kid!

  • i go to ebay!

  • i agree those things are realy cool

  • I agree, a friend of mine invented a alias manly-man character with the adventure people named "Rick Stevenson" who he says was supposed to symbolize manliness, it was funny when he told me this. So as a rundown, he used a random adventure people figure and made up a new identity for him!

  • Oh wow, I DO remember those figures. I think I had a few. There probably stored away somewhere at my folks house.

I'll have to go looking for them one day soon.

  • I like your poop analogy, Nalts, but you can't tell me that dropping the kids off at the pool after a 3 day hiatus isn't more satisfying than the regular daily dump. By the way, nice banner about your brother-in-law who looks older than you and makes more money than you do. He's my younger brother who looks older than me and makes more money than me --- you and I have a lot in common. Except for your male pattern balding, that is.

  • I enjoyed this video. I rated it 5 stars for you, nalts.

  • we should get papers signed

  • YES! We need a crusader for our cause , Nalts. I have been saying this for years (although I thought you were older than me) ... I had all the adventure people too and I want to buy them for my children too!!!

    Help Us Nalts!!!

  • waaaaat, u have quality AND quantity nalts :]

  • I just went on Ebay (you know....the site nobody uses anymore) and there are 87 postings for "Adventure People"....and Father's Day is only a few weeks away....!

  • have you ever been to hong kong? if you had, you wouldnt have made that comment. hong kong's quality is FAR better than Mainland china's and USA's(if you were implying that), stuff there isnt cheap, in fact most people come to hong kong JSUT to go shopping.. if you are relating quality of production, Hong kong and China are in two totally different categories. thanks

  • love the begining, my vids are like poo

  • I think you meant you're glad you got that out of your butt.

  • I have no idea what you are talking about but I still love your angry rants.

  • whiile your at it bring back mario cartoons!!!

  • ahaha, my videos are like poop XD

  • While were at it, Lego should bring back the Alpha Team...not Pepper Oni, though. What the heck was that.

You should have said "Like Michael Moore hunted down some Lasagna" instead of what you said, by the way.

  • what? how did digimon episodes i favorited end up in the related section?!

  • Duuude... I think I played with someone of those, and I was born in '83.

    That kinda toy rocks.

  • They look like so much fun! :P

  • The big atari, lol

  • Nalts, you are telling us your age.

  • lol

  • hmm never heard of them, but I'd have to agree toys now are horrible. Because I decided to be a nerd and go into Toys R' Us and they had the worst selection of toys. They need to bring back toy shops too, you know mom and pap(don't think I spelled that right) stores?

  • GI Joe with the Kung Fu grip were so much better

  • was going to give this two stars, but your brother in law brought it right up to four stars with the "man show" comment at the end. now we know why he's making the big bucks.

  • I played with the ambulance set until I was 15. They helped rescue my injured GI Joes. The only problem was that the arms were so worn out they would not stay where I put them. They kept falling down.

  • I have to nitpick on your video description, Nalts. You misused the word "common." "Common" is NOT "come on." "C'mon" is "come on," not "common." Look it up in a dictionary. ;x

Here, let's use it in a sentence:

"It is common for people on the internet to spell come on as common like total idiots."

The English language may be a whore (thanks to people doing such things as misusing "common"), but you should show it more respect than that - especially at your age. ;x

  • I had them in the 70's they were the best toy ever:)

  • NALTS SUCKS

  • dude, GiJOE owns Adventure people...just sayin

  • I remember the old Tonka trucks. They were made with thicker metal than real cars today.

  • And they hurt when Scott Daily through them at me.

  • What's with the scatalogical stuff? Constantly... I mean, we all love a nice, big steaming dump, but we don't have to talk about it all the time.

Adventure people? WTF!? Guess we were too poor. My Atari 2600 did kick ass.

    Nobody goes to ebay? Snob...

I like the caption about that dumb dude earning more than you. OK, so you're preoccupied with money and shit. Kinda goes together.

  • Can you really have enough money or poop too often?

  • I'm pretty satisfied financially, and lately I've been taking the most massive, daily, multiple-flushing, coiled poops ever. So I would say yes.

  • I had something like them, but they weren't quite as awesome

  • what i really want brought back is the digimon toys based from the first and second seasons, because i had a lot of those toys, and i was a huge ass digimon and pokemon fan, and i recorded their shows on vhs, i had a lot of the toys, and man, it kicked ass. BRING BACK DIGIMON. and not that retarded third season and up, thats when it sucked ass, bring back seasons 1 and 2!!

  • Thanks- didn't know Digimon meft.

  • you mean left? yeah. cartoons suck now

  • LOL FUNNY!!!

  • Discover Lego, be happy.

  • I loved adventure people!! I was just trying to describe them to my 15 year old son the other day! So its funny you would make this video. I had a bunch of them!!

  • Send them!

  • LEGO all the way!!

  • I refuse to eat until they return, just in your honor!

  • Eat plastic toys, you mean?

  • Eat plastic toys, you mean?

  • All toys, my friend....all toys..... Viva toxic chemicals!

  • never heard or seen stuff like that here in Germany...looks like crap...yes I mean it...so please don't bring back this C.R.A.P....keep it in your mind and never let it out again...;)

  • Cool Retro Adventure People (CRAP)?

  • thats something for people who still are living in the 70's...lol...the future is now and we don't need things like that...

...but you can tell it is something new, people will believe it...;)

  • I used to have a Tonka Winnebago that I filled with adventure people and rolled down a hill like it had a horrible accident.

Sometimes I would also play "Race With The Devil" with it (remember THAT movie?)

  • Was anyone hurt?

  • Nice job. I don't know who made the toys but I think M.A.S.K (Mobile Armored Strike Kommand) needs to be brought back. Now THAT was some excellent toying fun.

  • I had Adventure People too .. but they just didn't compare to G.I. Joe .. after all it was the Adventure Team :)

  • Real American Hero.

  • the more videos the better. keep the poop coming.

  • I wish they would bring them back too! I had that very first set you showed, with the green van and parachute etc. I loved them as a kid! Great video!

  • Atari.... wow memories of Frogger abound.

  • I did okay until the snakes started appearing on the logs.

  • Nalts you're just too funny!

  • Thanks.

  • Im 10 right so somthin like that came before me! lol! By The Way i still dont think ur vids r like poo that u leave in.... They'er Great!

  • But they're as nutritious as a steamer.

  • lol

  • haha, everything was better in the good old days!

  • lmao @ it looks like the man show!!

  • hahahaha!

  • And what about Crater Critters. Where are they now?

(They came with packets of Corn Flakes)

  • Crater Critters?

  • Fisher Price Adventure People Sea Explorer Set : # 290223100501 on ebay. And more.

  • I'm bidding. STay away!

  • wow - Brad and Pete! The guys with the Jeep. my brother had them. I had this awesome Motocross guy who had joints in his knees!

I was in Hamleys in London the other day. Action Man has done a 40th anniversary retro rerelease. I don't see why Fisher Price can't do the same.

  • I call for tinker toys

  • galipoka is back as temporarygalipoka so go subscribe he wants 1000 subscribers by august

  • o(^-^)o

  • Stretch Armstrong...

  • I froze him

  • thats not nice, but then again i had some old barbys and made them (EVIL BARBY)with pemenont markers mahawha

  • Lexie says they are yuckie toys! And she thinks they are ugly!! Kids these days obviously are not gonna appereciate it lol!

  • I SO agree! I miss Gi Joe, Hot rods with those long swirly tracks and my Sea Monkeys lol Yeah I played with Ken, he used to be HOT, have you seen him now.... He doesn't even get a 3 in my books lol

  • I don't remember being too fond of Ken, but I will say this. The DRAWINGS of the Sea Monkeys were WAY hotter than the actual insects they sent.

  • yea they were, I was looking at the old ads on Google the other day. I think it's the ads I'm missing and the promise I'd be having Kings and Queens living in my fish tank

  • Sea monkeys were just plain freaky!

  • Yea! Fisher-Price bring back Venture toys and lead based toys!!!!

  • Do you get Playmobil in the U.S.? They do those sort of toys...my son had loads during the 90s's

  • yea ye ayea yeaa

  • You totally made this so that people will send them to you... cheap bastard. I used to play with He-Man.

    Call your mother!

  • I talked to mama yesterday! :) LOVE the rome vids. Featuring one on my channel page.

  • I actually just sold mine on craigslist... they are probably on e-bay right now for billions.... darn you Nalts!

  • DANG

  • Hey- I'm at that age- thankful for regularity. lol

Anyway...I LIKE seeing a new Nalts video everyday!

    In FACT--are you taking requests?!?

If so-here's mine: PLEASE, Naltsy- post another dog video soon...my new, fancy-dancy pet video, promoting my newly published, first book, gets uploaded tomorrow and I need an appropriate one of yours to video respond to ;-))) Please, oh lord of marketing, I beseech you!

  • What's the book about?

  • The human-animal bond, healing canine cancer holistically, and how one little dog can open and heal a human heart that's been bolted shut and shattered. More info available on my channel. Thanks, Nalts!!!

  • Wish I could help. I want the Original Transformers back!

  • you could probabally had them made...you know,if you are that desperate for a play, 30 years of the same toy could get a bit samey i guess :)

  • Go Atari!! Woo Hoo!!

  • haha you sound like my dad

  • I heard that. Go to your room.

  • omg (scary dont say that)no seriously you sound like my dad(about the figures) but your so much nicer then my dad. lol

  • It's all about GI Joes! The bendy knees and elbows and everything. Completely classic. Toys these days just don't maneuver at all. They're like statues.

  • Remember "Rebound" the shuffleboard type game.

  • Oh man, the adventure people were awesome. I had the jeep, canoe, camping combo. I'd take it down to the creek and play for hours. Thanks for bringing back great memories.

  • Now we play in the creek virtually

  • Perfection. I figured this would be a "good" video since your work is always enjoyable, but this turned out to be an "excellent" video. Perhaps it was because I know adventure people, or maybe just a more primal identification with the theme in general? Great job.

  • Thakns

  • my husband literally freaked out when he saw this video. he remembers the gorilla... they would attack the people with the gorilla. they also loved the scuba diver and called him "the man from atlantis (like the tv show)."

  • That gorilla and I spent 12% of my childhood together.

  • Screw the Adventure People!!!!!!!!

I what my Evel Knievel Windup Motorcycle back!!!!!

  • Did you ever launch him from a window?

  • Whatever happened to the man show????

Jimmy and Adam were the best...Juggies!

    Jill

  • When i was little, I played with ear plugs, like they were toy people. So I say " Bring back ear plugs!!" LOL.

    Take it easy.

  • You made toys of ear plugs?

  • I even made cardboard houses for them. and made little cardboard furniture for them... Wow, that's pretty sad isn't it, LOL.

  • y'know I think I'm older than you and I don't remember Adventure people...hrmmmmm

I had the Johnny West Collection! Now that inspired imagination, because it was so lame, if you didn't imagine something cool happening, you'd die of boredom.

I feel I missed out on something wonderful in "Adventure People"

  • my parents couldn't afford adventure people so all we got was action humans. :-(

  • We had all those sets you showed plus all the others. Then Hasbro came out with the GI Joes they were the same size but their elbows and knees bended.Plus they came with guns and tanks and stuff.By then I was to old to play with toys.

  • I like the poop! and just so you know, the "common"s you've been using in ur descriptions confuse me for about half a second. i can't waste that ammount of time! most people use "c'mon" or even "come one" *gasp!* i know, weird, huh? ;)

  • I soooo remember my brother had them and I always wanted to play with jeep. and he was all pissy bout me touching his toys. LOL

  • Has he learned to share since?

  • they still have adventure people but now they have squashy little faces with enormous noses and they all look like dwarves on steroids...but the dragons and stuff that fly and bite stuff...they are the coolest ever.

  • I had adventure people with a jeep and another with a spaceship. And instead of an Atari my parents got me a TI994A. Instead of a rubics cube I got a pyramix.

  • Look Nalts... everyone knows Major Matt Mason > Adventure People. Get over it.

  • Major Matt Mason, I'll have you know, was recently busted for spraying Febreeze on his child (see National Inquirer).

  • Too funny! YOur wife & kids are playing and having a good time and you are vlogging about "Adventure People"!

  • Yes. Classic example of what Eckhart Tolle warns about... living in the past and missing the present.

  • LOL!

  • There are 30 on that auction site you mentioned:

    search period e bay period com slash fisher dash price dash adventure dash people underscore W 0 Q Q f s o p Z 3 2

(It was really hard to get YT to accept this post)

  • Thanks!

  • We raided my Mom and her 3 siblings' toys when we were kids. I remember they had a bunch of those dolls with jointed limbs and weird hands...some of them she was calling "Dawn" doll. lol

  • wow.i had all of those sets.this brings back memories.there probably a fotune on ebay.just saying.i know you said not to say it.

  • best part was your description of your brother-in-law. i laughed really hard :)

  • You never know what you had till its gone. I never played with Adventure People but they seem like they were awesome. Good luck getting through to the toy people!

  • I can't say I had those. But I did have a Fisher-Price House that I loved. :0)

  • With the trap door and bell and slide?

  • It had a door and a bell. It had a yellow roof and opened up. It came with furniture and people. I still have the house but the people are long gone.

  • Toys R Us have some discovery series I think teamed up with Animal Planet. Very similar. I had the ocean set. The octopus was epic.

  • Yeah- that's what inspired this. I spent all morning trying to fix his stupid leg.

  • "nalts posts a video every time you poop"

check out my favorites to see what i'm talking about.

  • But there are none. But a lisanova comment on your profile page.

  • i mean my video favorites, you could check your own as well nalts

a little person... could be boy or girl... sings a song called "nalts posts a video everytime you poop"

  • I had the orange jeep. I also had a green van with maybe a motorcycle in the back. Damn! I wish I'd held on to those. I was never a girly girl. I loved those toys!

  • I still have my collection of Richie Rich comics I used to buy for 50 cents! I miss the Saturday morning cartoons from the 80's. Saturday mornings are just not the same any more.
