In the school districts with the highest amount of money spent per student you will see the worst student performances on standardized tests. I do think that teachers should be paid more I also think tenure should be abolished and that teachers should be fired or given raises based on student performances on standardized tests, not how many the just push through to the next grade. More money in a school district does not aways mean more money for teachers.

If gov healthcare gets passed my employers taxes will go up again and he probably will not be able to afford to pay for my healthcare & since it will become free with the gov option he will say just get it from the gov its free. I will then lose my healthcare & be forced onto the gov option. This will happen many times over bringing about the end of private insurers You can only lose so many clients before you go out of business.
The gov will then blame it on the small business man for dropping my coverage. So how does this help the middle or lower class? As far as sans regulations it was actually done under the Clinton administration in 1999 though I forget the name of the bill. The jist of it was that after the great depression it was illegal for banks to sell loans to wallstreet and Clinton changed that law in 1999. You seem to be very factually challenged.

Do 7 mins of research again and you will see how wrong you are, money does not make a good school. In the school districts with the highest amount of money spent per student you will see the worst student performances on standardized tests. This is usually highlighted by minority school districts nationwide.

You truly are ignorant. The country with the highest paid teachers is the US last I checked we dont have the best student performances in anything. However you missed my point. I do think that teachers should be paid more I also think tenure should be abolished and that teachers should be fired or given raises based on student performances on standardized tests, not how many the just push through to the next grade. More money in a school district does not aways mean more money for teachers.

Fact is is that NY & NJ income levels are actually high enough to pay for basic services & decent education systems (NJ has some of the best public schools in the country and that's due in LARGE PART to their income taxes). Again, you're entirely unaware of how taxes are redistributed in this country. The fact is is that NY and NJ taxes often end up funding ALABAMA hospitals and jobs programs etc. ALASKA & TEXAS get massive amounts of corporate welfare that come from somewhere (ie BLUE STATES).

Actually right now the federal taxes collected from states with low taxes are going to pay for the bailouts of places like California who BTW is so bankrupt that it just raised the income tax another 10%. If gov healthcare gets passed my employers taxes will go up again and he probably will not be able to afford to pay for my healthcare & since it will become free with the gov option he will say just get it from the gov its free. I will then lose my healthcare & be forced onto the gov option. This will happen many times over bringing about the end of private insurers You can only lose so many clients before you go out of business.

tackman, take one look at the number of LOBBYISTS in Washington and where most of them get their funding (ie CORPORATIONS). Those lobbyists aren't there to tell the govt to NOT give them free money or to write bills that favor their needs over those of the individual, consumer, or citizen. As far as sans regulations it was actually done under the Clinton administration in 1999 though I forget the name of the bill. The jist of it was that after the great depression it was illegal for banks to sell loans to wallstreet and Clinton changed that law in 1999. You seem to be very factually challenged.

I never said that Clinton wasn't a corporatists who catered far too much to the GOP.
