@virgoptrex that wouldn't work because the OUTput on your laptop is ONLY and outty, this video shows you how to use a second screen for your laptop, if you wanted to use a laptop as a second screen. you'd have to take off the monitor to your laptop, saluter and VGA INput to the monitor, and then use it like that, oh, and saluter some sort or power supply as well and put buttons to control power on/off and brightness and contrast

Side note, I have really gotten to like using Input Director on my computer and main rig. The mouse moves fluidly between the two just like extended desktop but the laptop still functions as it's own computer. Obviously you can't drag windows between the two but you can do whatever on one computer and then control the other with the same keyboard and mouse...no kvm switch either.

The thing I am trying to do however is redirect full vga output from my pc's second video adapter to my laptops "presentation" display.My PC detects the second display fine but when I click apply my laptop just goes black when the mouse moves off screen etc.
