for anyone who is now struck between the n97 and the mini..well,i do strongly recommand you get the mini. it isn't as big,doesn't have those problems and..well,the 8 gb's seem to be enough.sure,only if you're willing to spend that amount of money on it.i really can't tell you if it is or it isn't worth it.it depends on what kind of user you are..i've been using it for 4 months now and i'm still lovin' it anyway.

the senser that anables u to tilt the screen is not working because u need to go to setting and press "phone" and then click sensers and i think its proximaty senser

Omg, you are just 13 ces040, and you have problems about Nokia N97 and Omnia?....Lol...I bought this phone after watching "all" videos on youtube about that, and also read lots of reviews..I know about all problems people have with this phone, but lots of people review this phone, though they had this phone in their hands just 5 min in shops...Btw, i think, this phone is great..with all problems it has..:)

N97 Mini is a limited edition. And if I'm not wrong, N97 Mini is only available in Singapore and Malaysia. Correct me if I'm wrong. Wants the Raoul design of the Mini badly :)

yea the g sensor is called accelerometer and i think it is turned off on ur fone or u have to wait a bit longer, it turns around to the left for every thing

the nokia n97 is a good phone, the samsung omnia hd has the same operating system but the device itself has better hardware(faster processor, more ram, 3d chip, bigger better screen, and a better camera) so the samsung is better.

I think what all the top mobile manufactures have agreed on is a good idea. Will stop the huge collection of chargers around the house. All have agreed to have a standard charger type in the next couple of years on new phones!

I have been wondering about the secondary camera though... in other versions nokia can switch cameras to take pictures, is it the same with this model? N95 and 96 do... however the Nokia support personel didnt know that, not even about the earlier vertions.

Personally, I think it does slightly. In the right light light you can see it isn't perfectly flat but slightly twisted around the top area near the ear piece section. And it takes forever to charge up. Im beginning to wish I'd kept my N95. Im not so impressed as I expected I would be.

Remove the plastic layer from the screen and maybe the screen's sensivity will improve. And the G-sensor is probably switched off from the menu. Tnx, nice preview all in all!

The screen doesn't seem all that responsive to you because you still have the screen protector on, hence the little silver triangle in the bottom right corner. Should try removing that first maybe ? Also the screen res. is the same as that of the Nokia 5800 XM.
