Only thing, Spring does not offer Windows 7 mobile yet! I'd like to get one.

I have Windows Mobile 6.5, and its really the same as all other previous Windows Mobile, e.g. Windows 4 I had on a few years back.'

I've played with a Windows 7 model at a T-Mobile store, and Im convienced. It was even ranked the 'best that happen in mobile phones since the iPhone.' so I guess Andrioid needs to step up there game!

I don't support the social networking integration into an OS. The concerned networks should make apps for that. These tactics seem gimmicky and rushed, to me. I really love that you can place pictures within an album, and view them album wise. Would like to know more in-depth, now that Win Phone 7 is really relevant.

Macs are overpriced, but I took the plunge and bought an iMac early last year. Pushing almost 2 years, and not one issue. No lag. No need to reboot because the thing decides to run as slow as hell. Basically, none of the issue I ALWAYS had with every PC I've ever owned. Is it worth the premium price? I dunno. But I can't argue with the fact that my mac runs like it did when it was new. And all without me having to defrag this, and install that.

The basic difference is that Macs close their ports (think lock windows and doors in your house) whereas Windows leaves their open and vulnerable to breakins (think leaving your windows open and doors unlocked). Macs are just better engineered. That's why the Pentagon switched to Macs.

So far I don't notice anything really new or exciting that Winmo 7 brings to the table. It's just playing catchup to the droid and iPhone. And if it's close to being as buggy and unstable as it's predecessors, the disaster will be complete.

Also, it seems like with MS is stepping on their loyal advanced Win user segment who would actually stick to their platform for a few valid reasons and chasing the mass market with a platform that offers the same as droid/apple in the best case.Good luck MS

The phone used for the unveiling and in most live demonstrations (the one with the slightly curved top and bottom edge and the front facing camera in the top right) is made by Acer, and its still an unnamed prototype. Samsung, Acer and LG will all be releasing a Windows 7 phone around the same time later this year.
