@punkgamer01 Nukes were overkill and a waste of time and resources. I used to go battlecruiser and marines :D mostly marines and cloacked ghosts for some areas. Ofc the AI was really stupid back then :))

Why don't you group your missile turrets in 3's or 4's? They cost 100 minerals and 0 supply. That mission was rough in SC1. You had to crack the middle like you did but quicker. Then you had to clear out the left hand side, there was a single starport over there and that was where those wraiths were coming from. Then you could focus in a 120 degree arc toward the main. Took the expansion in the top left corner. Then dropped two loads of goliaths at the star port in the upper middle.

In SC1, it was possible to solo the level with the Norad II, as long as you kept it regularly repaired. Once, when I was feeling lazy, I did exactly that.

The problem with Starcraft 2 is the way you play Campaign and multiplayer is so vastly different. You have to bunker down, build up a big strike force, and hit the enemy hard with overwhelming forces, or a weel rounded group (Goliath, Wraiths, and Siege Tanks pushing forward) and be have a BUNCH of static defenses, whereas in Multiplayer, your wanting to apply constant pressure, but with campaign enemies having nearly infinite cash, pressure really only hurts you.

@TheRealYngin actually you dont need to screw up with tanks and missles, tanks and goliaths-getting 12 each-to attack is a very good way to defeat them.later you get expansions and secure them(also the bridge connects to the main of the enemy-of course this is no against drops, it is against tanks and other stuff) from air attacks and drops and you win the mission.

Science Lab FYI:

SL has two addons: the Physics Labs, which allows Battlecruisers; and Covert Ops, which allows Ghosts. Also, if a building is destroyed, the addon becomes neutral, which is why you couldn't kill the Physics Labs. You could have built an SL there to claim it.

wraiths are awesome b/c they can be anti-air w/o taking up ground space and they're fast. they can reinforce the line quickly and take care those harassment drops. I always had a dozen wraiths in any mission in SC1 and anytime my base was counterattacked they took care of it pretty quick. unless it was goliaths.
