Hey, I'm all for Black actors but I'm not going to see it because of Jaden. To me the original was good and Ralph and Pat pulled it off well! Ralph was a average, couldn't fight teen and the nervous frustration of life showed. Pat didn't have to be a Jackie to get the points across about defense and principal. Yes, I'm skeptical because to me Jaden got in because of his parents. He can act but I'm not about to act like he's instant Oscar material. Like other actors - prove it. I'm open minded.

The fight sequences should be more entertaining with JC in control. No disrepect to Pat Johnson who directed the originals. I do have a question about whether JC is playing Mr. Miyagi or Miyagi like character. If he is supposed to be a Kung Fu/Wushu teacher then perhaps they should Change the title altogether The Wushu Kid or Kung Fu Kid-many Chinese will be insulted if you call Kung Fu Karate. Even if JC is playing a Karate instructor, still be insulted. As for remakes-everything is to a degree
