Issue is that if you really look into it, the amount of carbon in the Earth's atmosphere is so insignificant that Global Warming couldn't possibly be the reason for the Earth's spike in temperature. I think that the analogy that this lady used was well done and is exactly why we can't jump to a conclusion and say that this spike in temperature is uncharacteristic of the Earth's natural occurences when we barely know "a fingertip's length" of the Earth's history.
