@yankees3444 No. They are basically the same gun except for the fact, that Egos are a poppet valve, whereas the Geo is a Spool valve. It is a personal preference, in fact they were meant to be similar. The Geo was made for those that wanted the Planet Eclipse quality, but on a Spool valve marker, thus the marker was born.

Actually the droid gets 2 more pods more than the geo, the geo is similar to a dump valve spoolie, the geo is not even in the same ballpark as the droid its basicaly an expensive g4 or g3 , now the geo2 is diff but the geo itself isnt all that great and the droid is up there with the dms

@skubastevesam I don't know about you, but I prefer the feeling of the droid shooting over the more recent DM's (8&9). The DM6 on the other hand... Well... I don't think I've ever shot a smoother gun.

ive shot both unlike most people just saying geo ftw and the geo hasent go anything on the smoothness of droid it has a poping sound to it droid is the best spool gun you can buy and you can get them for half the price of a new geo

angels arent very good. They are jaguars, nice cars but need to be serviced a lot. I had one nad never again will i have one. DM's are good, but Ego's are probably the best gun ive ever shot, period. Zick kit + cure3 and you got a really nice gun with almost no kick when broken in. I love the geo as well, and im buying one in a few months.... Planet eclispe has amazing guns and customer service. i used to be a dye guy, but over past few years ive lost faith and have moved to P.E...

Its a win win, if u want air efficiency get the ego, less to no kick geo. Ive shot both and the ego has very minute kick. So thats why i ordered a ego.

go for the ego, its easier to mantain and to clean, if you hve a chop, you just have to take the bolt really quick and pass the squege, the geo if you have a chop, you are out. you have to dissamble it.

Geo= better for back players. That means it is more of a back player gun. This does not mean it is a back player gun. It means it is more practical for back players. When EGO9= better for front players. I have team mates who own both. And i am a back player. I used both. Geo shoots way better in back. I went front and tested them both. And the EGO9 was much better. But i am sure you own an ion so...does not matter much for you.
