Very good lap, the only place where I think you can gain a tenth or so is the exit from the last very tight (near 180 deg) right hander, its imperative to be very early on the throttle there.
Well, I switched to the InRacing News Series in the SRF once I got over 3.0 SR. Really enjoying the SRF and that series. Things have improved a lot and I'm usually under a second off the WR times, so I'm adjusting quite well. I love the iRacing community. Lots of great and helpful guys in that series who have helped me get up to speed :)
Very nice lines and technique. Much smoother and neater than some of the other fast laps I've seen here on Youtube. I'm still 2 seconds off your time (started practicing yesterday) but I think I have some pointers now to try and shave off a second :). T2&3 are quite challenging and I'm also having trouble with getting good exit speed out of T4 and T5.
@NVIDIAguy343 You just have to blip the throttle, no need for clutching as in real life. Also, no clutch/transmission damage for flat foot shifting and it saves a bit of time.
Great. What is your optimal time?

@MadCowMartin 1:00.787...the WR now is in the .6's.

@marki61422 I want to say 68. What you see in the video is how I race.

Very smooth, love it. Much more inspiring than some other videos I've seen where people are throwing the car around like a mad man.

@orion2001 Thanks! Now that it's been one month how is your lap looking?

Hmmm... How do you downshift like that without using the clutch? And why do you stay on the gas while upshifting?
sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm only a few weeks into iRacing :)

Nice driving, with smooths lines and good trail braking. I've got way to go.
