@voiceofexpression, deff not jeet kune do there buddy, go reasearch it, jeet kune do is more from bruce lees type of movies, this is mostly western boxing and palm techniques. In fact, i do believe donnie yen never used jeet kune do in any of his movies, but he has used wing chun.

I've learned martial arts so I know which form of art Donnie is using. By the way, take a look at one of his recent film which is called "The Return of Chen Zhen" in which he also showcase some of the Jeet Kune Do elements. I don't need to research. I've done enough research. I know what kind of person Donnie is.

This is a really great movie. I had the dvd copy of it before. Unfortunately one of my friends borrowed it and never gave it back to me. its okay. I guess they liked the movie too much. It was based on a comic book, and the haircut might be a Japanese intervention (or western, don't know).
Dragon and tiger have been considered opposites in the Chinese martial arts, but complementary opposites, pretty much the same as yin and yang.
Such haircuts might indeed be a little long for Chinese men, and it is a youth movie. They indeed are dressed like teenagers LOL. The fight scene does rock, though.

Every single culture contains some mainstream element that to us sucks, but there are geniuses like Donnie Yen who saved this movie, and this scene alone doesn't do the movie much justice.
