good vid bro- new E-series lock up even e5400 lock up & mouse freeze & erratic mouse- its not ram module...i tried witrh hynix, nanya & samsung but still same probs-its DELL 'feature' lol happened before on d600 etc

I blame Vista, no seriously

I have the originally installed Vista Business installed on one partition

and it randomly locks up

I can barely do anything

Fortunately I have installed Windows 7 RTM on a separate partition

works like a dream

I'm only keeping Vista to play Aion...

I'm thinking of getting Windows XP on there... but that takes effort...

its not vista

its horrible dell parts! bad dell parts...my dell xt locks up so bad and I have to literally punch it to make it work its dell

Maybe the RAM the engineer put in is also bad.

well its vista since mine runs great under XP except for all the school filters but I found a ton of holes in them

I actually swaped the hard drives with the dell and my netbook so right now its running windows 7 64 bit and kicking ass so far
